I have a couple true stories about the cemetery that I am proud to share. At first, all i have seen about this cemetery was its link on www.unexplainedresearch.com and just from reading that I was already terrified. Well some one posted earlier that if you shine a light on mother mary's eyes, at a certain angle, yes, they do turn black. The funny thing is that when you find that angle, it will look like Mary is looking around. I could have swore that her eyes were closed last time I went but I went last night and her eyes were halfway opened.

This right here is a story that I will never forget and i swear on a stack of bibles that this is 100% true...

I had a couple friends over because my parents were not home and we were bored so we decided to make the drive out to this cemetery. So we get there and we're kinda bummed because nothing really was happening so my buddy took out his camera and aimlessly began taking pictures of the cemetery/fowler lake. After about 20 pictures his camera that had full life as we walked into the cemetery had completely died. So I was with about 4 guys and while we were walking out we noticed a man walking his dog near the brand new entrance to the cemetery by the new condos. I whispered to my friends "you guys if that man says anything, we are sprinting back to the car."

So we see this guy duck behind this grave and start to watch us for about 15 seconds and then he started walking back up the hill and we thought "good he's leaving" but then he started walking back down TOWARDS us and we were starting to walk a bit faster and finally we heard him mumble something at us, we couldn't even tell what he said but we didn't even care we just ran back to my car as fast as we could and the guy LET GO of his dog and it ran after us back to the car and i am not sure if any of us have ran this fast in our lives and so i clicked the unlock button and jumped in the car and the weirdest part was that as soon as we got in the car, there was NO ONE BEHIND US. I have four whitnesses that can say the exact same thing that I can. We were speechless...

When we finally got back to my house and grabbed my buddies charger for his camera and got it back to life we were looking through it to see if we could see anything at all out of the normal and behind a grave you can see a ghostly figure who looks very disturbed and angered. The weird thing about this ghost is that we would have never found it on his camera if we didn't zoom in because on cameras where it shows the time, and pixals and memory the ghost is completely covered up. You can completely see this though. It's not like a "yeah i suppose it KINDA looks like a ghost" its clearly a figure with a face.

Thats all I have for stories, except for also when i got back to my house, all of my shelfs on my wall had caved in and everything shattered on them, of course this could have been anything and its probably not linked to the cemetery at all but it happend while we were looking at the pictures and while we were at the unexplained research website as well.

Anyone else with stories out there? I love to hear/listen about la belle cemetery

I don't have any particular stories about cemeteries or ghost stories that I recall but I have plenty about spirits and strange things that happen in my house from time to time. I chalk it up to all my dead relatives who come back and visit.

If anyone wants to hear them, let me know. I would be happy to share.

Re: Cemetery Stories

Tis the season that the dead souls will rise to make themselves heard. Old saying that the "Old Town" is the safest place to be...or is it really? I'd love to hear the stories and then go investigate, bring on the locations of haunted Cemeteries.

Smile Re: Cemetery Stories

I found this site not too long ago that lists haunted places in Wisconsin. Some of the stories sound very interesting. Would love to visit them all and talk to the local folks.

Shadowlands Haunted Places Index - Wisconsin

The disclaimer on the website reminds people that
any places listed in the Haunted Places requires permission to visit or investigate. Many of the places are patrolled by the authorities and trespassers will be prosecuted.
