Homemade Cat Post / Cat Condo

After seeing these things in excess of $200 for something decent, I decided to make my own.

It's staple-less, and I made it for a few bucks as I had some things laying around.

I used a Xmas tree stand to hold the limbs upright at first to work on them.

I attached these main limbs to the base using long screws and carpenters glue.

(The base will be reinforced later with an enclosure)

The ledges are also screwed down aith 2-3 1.5" screws and carpenters glue.

The carpeting was adhered with carpenters glue and wood clamps.

I drilled a hole big enough to hold a stick-toy, works great.

I'll finish, rub catnip on it, and take more pics upon completion.
It does take time as the glue has to dry and depends on how many clamps you have at your disposal.
