Re: Forever homes needed.
ADOPTED!
I went home to Sheboygan!
ahhhh look at this little face and read the journey that Kelsey has gone through to be ready for a new 'forever' home and how can you say no? She is a cutie. Hope she finds a home soon that will take good loving care of her. She certainly deserves it.
KELSEY...is a very nice BLUE CREAM PERSIAN. She is spayed, had a recent dental and full blood panel. Her full, cottony coat is growing out in shades of peach and gray and she has lovely gold eyes. Kelsey has actually been in this rescue a long time. She was admitted last summer from a shelter in Indiana and obviously had been poorly cared for by whomever had her before. She was thin, horribly dirty and matted and scared and had painful mouth full of infected teeth, most of which have been removed (she eats hard and soft food perfectly well). Despite all of this, Kelsey settled in, had her coat shaved, medical needs attended to, and got back on her feet with lots of TLC. We are proud to say that this little girl is doing very well and is now looking for her Forever Home. Kelsey was very easy for us to foster because she is overall a quiet, gentle kitty who doesn't ask for much except regular meals and love. She is a bit talkative, not particularly active (she loves to look out windows most of the time) and enjoys being brushed and combed. She is affectionate and loves to be pet and fussed over. Kelsey is fine with other cats that will not bully her and pretty much goes with the flow. The best home for her should be experienced with the maintenance needs of Persians/Himalayans as she does have a very dense, cottony coat that should be combed regularly or kept cut short. She seems to prefer a quiet environment and would be a perfect cat for an older person or couple without young children. Kelsey is around 8 years YOUNG and has been fully vetted to assure optimal health. She certainly has another decade of love to give! The reduced "mature" rate applies. BEING FOSTERED IN SHEBOYGAN, WI.

Re: Forever homes needed.
ADOPTED!
I went home to Florence, Wi.!
Now Daisy is a cat that just looks like she would be a real charcter to have around. And I had to laugh when I noticed they call her a 'VELCRO CAT'. lol
DAISY...is a cute LYNXPOINT SIAMESE. She is around 2 years old, spayed and has a short, easy coat and bright blue (slightly crossed!) eyes. Daisy is a little girl, around 7 pounds, and is just a doll. Her foster mom says she is "VERY friendly and affectionate...just a VELCRO CAT" and is doing well with her 2 year old daughter. Like any Siamese, Daisy is very active, intelligent and playful and would do well in an active household. She does tend to be a dominant kitty so a home with either no cats or one that would ignore her would be ideal. Respectful dogs would be fine. BEING FOSTERED IN MADISON, WI.

Re: Forever homes needed.
ADOPTED!
I'm going home to South Dakota!!
So many cute cats to pick from! I think it is so great that this rescue is here with purebred cats. So many would love to own a persian or some other type of purebred but can't afford what breeders ask for them. And it's sad that just like domestic cats, purebreds get left homeless too. So, this is the perfect answer. Purebreds that need a home, and a way for those that would love to have a purebred to meet.
ARIZONA...is a handsome BLACK AND WHITE BICOLOR PERSIAN. He is 6 years old, neutered and has a medium-care thick coat, bright gold eyes and a tiny PINK NOSE. Arizona was in rescue before and adopted out but the resident cat was not happy with a newcomer and Arizona had to come back. This handsome boy is playful, affectionate and just plain CUTE. He is great with the scratching post too! Arizona is great with dogs and does best with female cats. A family familiar with the grooming needs of Persians/Himmies or long-haired dogs will be perferred. BEING FOSTERED IN MADISON, WI.

Re: Forever homes needed.
WE WERE ADOPTED TOGETHER
SASHA and SILLA...are two breathtaking SEALPOINT SIAMESE sisters. They are 2 years old, spayed and have easy short coats, delicate features and turquoise eyes. This tiny duo (each girl weighs LESS than 5 pounds) was abandoned at a Chicago shelter by a breeder who had too many cats. They came into rescue absolutely terrified, huddled together and probably thinking their world had come to an end. They have done very well in a quiet foster home and are absolutely GORGEOUS cats. They are a bit on the shy side but will come up to visitors out of curiosity and do enjoy being petted and interacted with. Sasha is the more chatty of the two but is not excessively vocal. Silla pretty much purrs all the time. They enjoy sitting on their foster mom's lap, being doted on and playing with toys from time to time. These girls are emotionally very dependent on each other, as you can see by their photo, and as such we very much would like to adopt them out TOGETHER. They would do best in a quiet adult home that is experienced with and cherishes this breed. They would be ok with another easy-going cat that would not dominate them. No dogs or small kids please. BEING FOSTERED IN RACINE, WI.

They are very beautiful cats. Siamese cats are alot of fun to have as part a family. I'm sure someone else that knows Siamese cats will come along and be excited to adopt them.

Re: Forever homes needed.
ADOPTED!
I went home to Madison, Wi.!
This is a rare find to have a Siberian cat in rescue. Siberians are the national cats of Russia. If you want a very BIG cat (almost 15 pounds) and very unique, this is the one. I love the beautiful green eyes of this kitty. I also thought it was interesting that his front paws have white tips like he just got a French manicure...how cute is that?
BOHDI...is a stunning GOLDEN MACKERAL WITH WHITE SIBERIAN. He is 5 years old, neutered and has an incredible, thick coat with carmel ticking and white chest and toes and INTENSE green eyes. Siberians are the national cats of Russia, have been in the United States for less than 20 years and are considered quite rare indeed! Bohdi is a classic of the breed. He is a large cat--at least 15 pounds! In the winter, his coat will be longer, very full and dense but in the spring time his Siberian parka comes off for a much more comfortable version in a medium length. His emerald green eyes are simply indescribable. They're enough to make you melt! Bohdi is king of his domain. He is talkative (and quite loud), playful and wants the run of the house. We think he could get along with another very mellow cat that would ignore him and he has been ok with dogs. He enjoys playing, petting and grooming--even giving up his belly to be massaged and brushed. His front paws are decorated with white tips looking like he just got a French manicure--nothing is too good for the king. In his previous home, Bohdi was allowed to go outside from time to time. Therefore, we'd like his next kingdom to have lots of inside room to roam. We know it's not safe for cats to be outside, but it would be great if his next castle had some big windows, maybe a sunroom or a screened in porch. No tiny children please! A respectful dog or older children may be just fine for him. Bohdi must be kept on a common prescription diet (found at any vet clinic and no more expensive than any premium cat food) to prevent urinary tract infections. He is a HEALTHY happy, GORGEOUS BOY! PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS BREED IS NOT HYPOALLERGENIC AS SOME BREEDERS CLAIM. IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO CATS, THIS BREED WILL NOT HELP. BEING FOSTERED IN OSHKOSH, WI.

BOHDI...is a stunning GOLDEN MACKERAL WITH WHITE SIBERIAN. I don't think I have ever seen this breed before. What an interesting cat. Love the little white toes in front. They just added a new video where you can watch him play. Really pretty cat.

Re: Forever homes needed.
ADOPTED!
I went home to Racine, Wi.!
Oh what a beautiful kitty! I truly hope someone adopts her soon and gives her the loving home she really needs. She is going to be gorgeous when she grows up.
KELLIE...is a darling RAGDOLL MIX KITTEN. She is 7 months old, spayed and has a full, EASY, medium coat in torti-points with splashes of white on her feet and legs. Kellie has come a LONG way in rescue and we are so proud of her! Brought in to a local animal control with no story or background, she was absolutely terrified and had obviously had been handled roughly as she was very head-shy. She would shake in fear when a hand came towards her. But through the love and patience of her expert foster mom, Kellie has done a 360 and now knows that people can be GOOD! Kellie now LOVES to be cuddled, purrs NON-STOP and gets so happy about any attention that she drools and does "happy feet"! Combine that with gorgeous looks, and you have an amazing little cat who is only going to grow and get even better over time! She is very energetic, playful and just the typical kitten. Kellie absolutely LOVES other cats and we are REQUIRING that her new home have at least one other younger kitty she can play with. The best family for her would be adult, quiet and cat experienced as she still can be a little
skittish in new situations and she will need time to settle in. She would probably OK with a gentle, older dog that would ignore her. She is extremely afraid of children. The "mixed breed" adoption fee applies. BEING FOSTERED IN BURLINGTON, WI.

|
I love a cat that snuggles! This one would be so cool to have. Wow, if I had a bigger house..and more money..I think I would adopt all of these cats!
DUSTY BLUE...is a handsome BLUEPOINT RAGDOLL. He is 5 years old, neutered and front declawed and just had a full dental done. He has a full, medium-length coat and bright blue eyes and is around 11 pounds. Dusty found himself homeless due to a child's allergies and domestic issues, so this poor boy was pretty upset winding up in a shelter. Fortunately foster space was available for him and he is now with us. Dusty's foster mom describes him as "a big cuddly boy...if you pick him up he snuggles into you." He's a little unsure in strange environments, but once you have him in your arms he is all love. He is known to enjoy laps, petting and grooming and is playful and just a lot of fun. Dusty did not live with other pets in his new home, but we feel he would be ok with another easy-going cat or dog that would not terrorize him. Older, respectful kids would be fine. BEING FOSTERED IN MADISON, WI.
