Wow I am so happy that I just checked the cat website and look what I found this afternoon:

I am so happy for all the cats that find a new home. It's interesting to see all the places the cats went home to. Hopefully all the kitties have 'forever loving homes' now.

Which reminds me of Kelly's issues with the fact that she is in the rescue of fish.. and she is about to lose all 12,000 fish in her business if she doesn't get a miracle for them. OK is it just me or does this kitty look like he is begging for someone to bring him home? Reading his description sounds like he is just so purrfect too!


APPLE...is a wonderful CHOCOLATE POINT SIAMESE. He is 8 months old, neutered and has an easy, short coat and bright blue eyes. Apple is the absolute definition of a Siamese kitten: BUSY, ACTIVE and seriously PLAYFUL! He has too much going on in his little life to be much of a lap cat (though that may chance as he matures) but he is affectionate and quite PURRSONABLE. If you are looking for a mellow "couch potato" kitty, KEEP LOOKING! However if you have another young busy cat that could really use a buddy, Apple would be PURRFECT. He absolutely LOVES other cats and will bump up against them purring furiously. He would keep another one amused and exercised and provide endless entertainment for the people in the household! Apple would be fine with older, respectful kids and dogs that would not chase him. COME GET THIS HANDSOME BOY BEFORE HE'S GONE! The kitten fee applies. BEING FOSTERED IN GURNEE, IL.

LOL LOL I was visiting the kenosha purebred website this evening and saw this new cat they added. This is certainly a cool looking cat. Just check out that face! And I bet in a few months when her hair grows out she is going to be one of the most beautiful cats ever. Right now she is like a diamond in the rough.


TO KNOW ME IS TO LOVE ME!
RACHEL...is a sweet RED AND WHITE TUXEDO PERSIAN. She is around 4 years old, spayed and front declawed. As you can tell by her photo, Rachel came to us terribly matted and had to be completely shaved. Though she is more comfortable now, you really can't see how cute her markings are, because they are just DARLING. She has white "Got Milk?" markings on her upper lip, a lovely white chest, 4 white feet and some white on her tail. When her coat grows out she will be REALLY PRETTY. For now though, she has a funny little face with huge gold eyes and magnificent whiskers. Rachel is around 8 pounds and is a friendly, outgoing girl. She has the typical calm Persian personality and is fine with being picked up, fussed over and petted. She is fine with other cats, probably gentle dogs and respectful older children. The best home for her would be experienced with the grooming requirements for Persians and Himalayans as she has a VERY cottony coat that will need regular combing or being kept shaved for her comfort. Her little face is flat but she breathes fine and her eyes stay clean. BEING FOSTERED IN KENOSHA, WI.

My youngest son really likes Daphne. He thinks she is so tiny and cute and hopes that someone will give her a good home. She is a little cutie and deserves a second look by a loving potential owner.


SPECIAL NEEDS

DAPHNE...is a sweet TORTI PERSIAN. She is around 5 years old, spayed, just had a complete dental and her cottony coat is growing out of a neat lion cut. Her coat is in muted colors of peach, gray and black and she has bright gold eyes and a flat little face. She's around 6 pounds. Daphne came to us as a stray from a Chicago shelter so we don't really know what happened to her. What we do know is that this sweet-natured, gentle little girl had some rough times. She is listed as Special Needs because she has a slight head tilt, which causes her to be slightly off-kilter in one direction when she jumps and gets up. It doesn't affect her in any other way and she gets around perfectly fine and uses the box 100%. She has been thorough vet checked by 2 vets and has no infection, ear issues or anything that can be detected. She's just a bit "uneven" at times. Never the less, Daphne is a friendly, happy little girl who gets along great with other cats and could use a loving, Persian experienced household where she can get all the attention she wants! The reduced, "Special Needs" adoption fee applies. BEING FOSTERED IN SHEBOYGAN, WI

Just this morning I was visiting the purebred website: Pure Bred Cat Rescue > Available for Adoption!
when I noticed they put a second picture of Daphne up. Can't wait to show my son when he comes home from school. This is the kitty he is always checking on to see if she found a home yet since he thinks she is such a cutie.

Thanks for the update on the kitties!! Always great to hear someone finding a home.

I found some info for Kelly and her fish. I hope Kelly was able to receive it as I had an impossible time sending it to her.

Yes, she is very cute. My son really likes to check on this one. I like the look she has on her face which really shows up more in this second picture they posted. Almost like she is annoyed and impatient and can't believe she is having to sit and wait before she can find a home to call her own.

Pk....your son and I would get along just great as this is one of my favorites too. I just love the colors. Beautiful cat that doesn't have a permanent home. Something is wrong with that. All I know is I had that cat in my house as a foster animal, it wouldn't be leaving.

Well I put on the picture of the cat that my son likes but this next one is the cat that my daughter wants. lol If it was up to them we would have all these cats at home.



POWDER...is darling FLAME POINT SIAMESE MIX. She is 5 years old, spayed, front declawed and has "powder" blue eyes and a short, dense coat in creams and golds. Powder found herself living at a rural shelter when her elderly owner passed away and Powder became homeless. It was obvious that her previous owner cared for her as Powder is definitely a full-figured, "pretty plus" girl. She's very affectionate, loves to be the center of attention and likes to play. She really is quite the character and NOT the least bit shy. She is okay with other kitties, probably respectful dogs and older children. Her New Year's resolution is to lose some weight in a caring home and regain a svelte figure with a good diet and exercise! The reduced "mixed breed" adoption fee applies. BEING FOSTERED IN OSHKOSH, WI.

Wow, I went on the website today to check out the cats and was happy to see that many have been adopted or have applications on them to be adopted. It's great to know that some hopefully found their 'forever' homes.

I've been watching Rhonda for some time now and wonder how some cats come on and get adopted right away and others as beautiful as Rhonda will sit and wait and wait.

I wonder what makes Rhonda a kitty that people pass by? Seal-point Ragdolls are very beautiful. They are not hyper which is always a plus in my book. She is spayed, front declawed and comes with a full dental done. Unlike some cats that want to be the only pet, Rhonda has lived with another cat and a larger dog before. But it does say she would like a quiet house to live in..lol...but that sounds like most of us humans too.

I guess maybe it's the gorgeous blue eyes that keeps me coming back to look at her but I do hope that Rhonda finds a home soon. She is one of my favorites to check on.

So Carol and Kelly I noticed you check this out..which Kitty's are the ones you are watching to see if he/she gets a home soon?
