My daughter has been begging me to go to the cat rescue center we have in Kenosha. She is interested in volunteer work when this group shows their kitties at our local Petco on weekends.
Finally we had some time to stop in today and I must say I was very impressed with the work they do with their cats. The kitties they have in their care seem happy to have found this great place to help them find a loving home for them.
If you ever have a chance to stop in you should do so, especially if you are on the look out for a new kitty to take home.
They also have a great website that shows all the cats that are in need of a new loving home.
Here's the information and website:
Kindred Kitties is a non-profit, no-kill rescue organization aimed at proactively addressing the plight of homeless cats. We are an all-volunteer organization dedicated to finding loving, permanent homes for cats and kittens, promoting responsible pet ownership, and participating in community events to advocate for cats and educate the general public.
