Huhner Fest is a family festival for the whole community. Featured events include:
Saturday, July 28
* The Steeple Chase Bike Run: Choose one of three routes which all start at Good Shepherd Parish. The Green Route goes from Good Shepherd to St. Martins and back (about 10 miles). The Yellow Route foes from Good Shepherd to St. Martins and St. Charles and back (about 20 miles). The Red Route takes you from Good Shepherd to St, Martins, St. Charles, Holy Trinity, St. Elizabeth and St. Augustine back to Good Shepherd (about 30 miles). Registration fee is $20 per individual, $50 per family before July 15th. After July 15th the registration is $25 per individual, $70 per family. Call (920) 849-4082 for more info.
* Pig Roast, beginning at 4 p.m.
* DJ-Crazy Train 8 p.m. to Midnight
* Fireworks at dusk
* Silent Auction, side raffles and 50/50 raffle.
Sunday, July 29
* Outdoor Polka Mass, 10 a.m. (bring lawn chairs)
* Grilled Chicken Dinner (11 a.m.-2 p.m., carryouts available)
* Clete Bellin Band, Noon-3 p.m.
* Bingo, 2-4 p.m.
* DJ-Crazy Train 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
* Silent Auction winners announced 6-7 p.m.
