My husband and I have always gone to company Christmas parties. There are a few that we have missed, but not many. I usually had fun at them. Then again, I'm not afraid to get out there and dance.
I can think of a couple times that we had fun. One Christmas party they had a big chocolate fountain set up with all kinds of foods to dip with. There was pretzels, fruits, crackers, cookies, and marshmallows. I thought it was a really fun way to eat. My husband was trying to get one of his coworkers to stick his head on the fountain.

Last year the company Christmas party was in the Dells at one of those waterparks. I forgot which one. We ended up getting a room with fireplace and a jacuzzi. I know most of my husband's coworkers didn't get that in their room. It paid to book late, because that was all that was left. It was a bad idea to use both the fireplace and jacuzzi at once, because the room ended up being a big sauna and way too hot.
At the hotel/waterpark it was nice since everything was all in one location, no going outside. We had a simple dinner buffet, then headed to one of several bars in the building. First, I ordered a flaming drink that the waitress couldn't get to light, so I had a non-flaming drink.

We watched the people in the waterpark playing while we drank. None of us wanted to get wet at that time of night. Next, we headed to the bar with the dance floor. I really enjoyed watching the bartenders. They all were juggling and throwing things in the air. They really put on quite a show. A few of us danced, but I wasn't crazy about what the DJ was playing.
The drive up to the Dells was very memorable and not in a good way. It was snowing like crazy. Normally, we wouldn't have driven in that, but we wanted to go so bad. I was worried the whole time that someone would hit us or that the car would go off the road. It was a very scary ride up there and a few times I was sure we were toast.

It is normally less than a 2 hour drive, but it took us 3 and half hours to get there. We saw a nasty semi accident on the opposite side just past Madison. A few semis had run off the road and one had it's side ripped open. I found out later on that someone in a car (maybe a jeep?) had been killed
