What types of movies do you like?

I like comedies the most. I also like science fiction, fantasy and some horror.

Some of my all time favorite movies are: Billy Madison, Ghostbusters, Office Space and X-Men

The Mummy is my favorite movie. Stigmata's up there too. The new Battlestar Galactica mini-series really blew me away because it was so much more than I was expecting. I was really surprised at how well the X-Men movies came out. Lots of changes there but the character of the story stayed the same and that's really where most comic book movies go wrong; they change the character of the story. Batman Begins was pretty good for that too. Since it's Singer, I'm expecting good things from Superman this summer. And I'm on pins and needles waiting for Joss Whedon to finish writing Wonder Woman.

Saw V for Vendetta this weekend. I haven't read the graphic novel it was based on but I can't imagine any actor but Hugo Weaving being able to pull off a role where you never see his face even once in the movie. He was outstanding. The rest of the movie was pretty good too (and I didn't feel sorry for Natalie Portman for having terrible terrible dialogue like I did when I saw Star Wars III, so that's a plus). Won't say anything else on it though because I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet (and if you haven't, you should).

I like the early horror movies too. And when I grow up, I want to be Gene Kelly. I grew up on the old Hollywood musicals.

I'm a huge fan of comic book movies.

Did you know that The Mask, Men in Black and Virus were originally comics? Men in Black was actually by a company that was a part of Marvel, while Mask and Virus were by independent comic promotions.

I can't wait for X-Men 3, it looks like it will be the best of the X-Men movies.

I have seen most comic movies over the years, with the exception of some. Elektra, Catwoman and a few others seemed really dumb, so I didn't watch them.

I was a bit surprised how good "The Incredibles" was. It was basically a ripoff of Fantastic 4 (another great comic and movie), but they did it very well. A sequel to it, is coming out sometime next year or 2008 I think.

My most viewed flicks include

Comedy:
Eurotrip, Sorority Boys, Tommy Boy, Shanghi Noon and have course Blue Collar Comedy Tour

Horror/Suspense: Stigmata, Ransom, Underworld, Red Dragon and Halloween

War: Saving Private Ryan, Platoon, Behind Enemy Lines, Hiroshima, and Schindler’s List

Action/advernture: Zorro, The Art of War, Mortal Kombat, Universal Soilders, The Count of Monte Cristo, and Lara Croft

But their is over 300 movies at my place so I guess I have a few more favorites.
