Re: TRIVIA !
Another Wisconsin Trivia Question (can I do 2 in a row?) Where is the rule book?
What city is 2,900 acres of woods and sand dunes, and six miles of unspoiled public beachfront attract thousand of visitors year-round?

Re: TRIVIA !
Is this a trivia question too? lol
Acutally I guess the rules went that a person that answers correctly puts the next question on. Unless of course the person want's to pass it to someone else I guess....
So, since it was kinda my turn and I much rather answer questions than put one on...then let's by all means go with your next question. Sounds good with me this time.

Re: TRIVIA !
The Point Beach State Forest forms Two Rivers' northern boundary. Its 2,900 acres of woods and sand dunes and six miles of unspoiled public beachfront attract thousand of visitors year-round.
Oh by the way...the answer is Two Rivers, Wisconsin.
Point Beach State Forest forms it's northern boundary. Which is 2,900 acres of woods and sand dunes and six miles of unspoiled public beachfront......

Ohhhhhhh ~ ok....I looked everywhere for the rule book and just could not locate it.
When you answer this next trivia I'll just sit back and wait for you to ask the next question.

I think Keith hides the rule books in his back pocket.
But going back to the very beginning it shows that is just how it's been done. But since we are all here to have fun, I think we can change the rules, bend them, twist them, anything that makes it work and it's fun. Right? lol

Re: TRIVIA !
oops..I have been so caught up Kelly's important issue with her fish I totally forgot to add a question here...so I"ll make a quick and easy one for everyone....
So tell us of all the many different types of domesticated birds we now have, which was the one that man picked to be the first to be domesticated?

Re: TRIVIA !
chicken was the first bird to be domesticated. Tasty and the eggs are just the right size for a serving fried, or in a recipe. lotsa by-products from those yardbirds.
There are 9 different types of birds domesticated by man. All of them can be captured and eaten at the will of man.

Re: TRIVIA !
Actually the chicken was not the first bird to be domesticated by man. Can you look a little further? Otherwise I'll post the answer soon. Good try though.

Trivia Rule Book
Just checked my back pocket and the rule book isn't there!
Hmmm, changed my pants today. I'll look some more.
Good bird questions! Some of the bird lovers here ought to figure this out.
Regards,
Keith

Re: TRIVIA !
My guess would be pigeons. Domesticated to both eat and as messanger birds.

Re: TRIVIA !
Ducks
Well when I posted this question I did not realize how many places actually say a different answer then the one I had orginally found which is DUCKS. Many claim chickens, some say piegons, and a few places even put the Geese first.
But the way I read it Ducks and geese were domesticated by humans for both their eggs and meat. Ducks are thought of as being domesticated before Geese and way long before chickens. They were raised in China over 2,000 years B.C.E.
According to what I can find the Incas of Peru kept ducks and a duck known then as the Muscovy duck.
