Demon71 is simply because I have a 1971 red Dodge Demon 340 4 speed. This is a great old car and I had one in high school just like it. If you are around the Lake Geneva area you may see me driving it once in a while.

In high school, everyone called me "Swinny" which is taken from part of my last name, But on most sights I'm registered on, that is already taken. So I added the x's and it works out fine.

I just noticed this really cool forum topic tonight and I will say it was very fun reading! I often try to figure out how some users come up with the name they pick.
Mine is 'pk'. OK, I'm sure that is not a difficult one to pick apart. It is for my first and last name. Wow, that was a no brainer! lol
Actually a friend of mine had a website that I visited alot and gave suggestions for and he kept telling me that I had to 'join' as a member. I never joined as a member anywhere before, so one day he just joined me up and told me I was now 'pk'! lol Then I really started posting alot on the forums there, became part owner, did alot of pictures...galleries by pk and then pk snippets so it kinda just is really out there now.
Reading other unique names makes me want to find a name that is better fitting but then I think..what is better than my intials which is part of my name?
So I stay as...
'pk'

The Sky is the Limit and that is how I want my life to be. Kind of corney, I know but...I thought that is was unique way to say that. You feel very optimistic about your future because there are so many possibilities when the sky's the limit. Also a name I use on another website b/c I am into sky scrappers and large cities horizons, beautiful!! So it can also be looked at as a play on skyscrappers!

Last post on this was Oct. 9th. Lots of newbies since then and still lots of seasoned users that hasn't responded as of yet.
Hope users continue with this post since it is alot of fun reading how user 'names' were born.

Hobo - No reason really. I guess if I didn't have to be presentable for work everyday I'd probably look like a hobo.
My dream is to win the lottery and live life on the road in an RV. A modern day 21st century Hobo.

OK, I have to say your name seems to fit very well.
I have a question for you. Do you keep your 4 potbellied pigs in the house? My son loves pigs and I always read that potbellied pigs actually make great house pets and can easily be trained to use the bathroom outdoors or in a large litter box. Never found anyone that actually had one to ask if this was true or not?
just wondering.

I used to have a house pig. It was like having a bull dozer in my house.
I have friends that have potbellied pigs in their house that are spoiled rotten. Having a pig that is litter trained is just GROSS. The average size of a miniature potbellied pig (micro mini pig, vieatnamese pig etc) is 90 - 150#. Saying that, the pigs is still smaller in size then a black lab dog. Just very compact ~ and stubborn. Piggy needs a box big enough to turn around in. People usually use a small kiddies pool. You can not use cat litter because they will eat that and get an impaction. So you have to use newspapers, towels, shavings etc. They pee or poo and you know. It just stinks! Then if you get a pig that likes to play in the towels, paper, shaving....they get it all over the house. Just much easier to train them like a dog to go potty outside.
My pig slowly decided he liked living outside in the barn better. Boy was I glad! Pigs in the house just are not fun. Pigs can be more "natural" outside. They dont have to wait to be let out for potty. They can graze and root (instead of grazing on your carpet or linoleum).
You can teach them tricks like a dog. They are a very loyal and loving pet. My house pig (now outside pig) had a ramp because of the short legs he could not do stairs....but let me tell you. One day Jahova Witness's pulled up my drive and wanted to "save" me. My pig did not like them and took off after them ouffing and barking. Scared them so bad they neer came back.
I have all sorts of funny pig stories

OK, you totally made me not want a pig in the house! How do you say...eck? lol Reading your comment really gave me a visual of a pig in a small litter box and getting it everywhere...lol lol What was I thinking!?
So, do you have any stories about people that have little goats in the house? We went to someone's house once years ago (can't even remember why)...but we were met at the door by a very small goat. They said he was a great inside pet....ummmm can't believe he did not eat everything in the house.
We will have to go to another forum and have you tell more pig stories. lol Is there a forum for pigs? I'll have to look.

Please check out the 'OTHER PETS' forum.
If you feel like sharing more 'pig' stories or pet stories here's a great place to put it.

ROFL
I can just see this.
Would you say pigs really are more intelligent than dogs? Or about the same?
