Those diet commercials that tell you to take thier pills, follow thier meal menus and exercise, and the weight will come off..well DUHHHHHHH!!! if I could follow a menu and exercise everyday, I wouldn't need to diet

All the homeless children commercials, that are for other countries. What about the USA? I don't know for sure, but I'm betting most of those companies don't help out the USA homeless/poor populations.
People that can't respect others opinions. Not everyone should be forced to think the same way.
All the time wasted on celebrity news (TV, magazines, etc). Celebrities aren't the world, get over it already and find better things to do. Stalking them, just to get pictures is just stupid. They aren't that fascinating, they are human just like everyone else. Celebrities divorce, so do regular people. Celebrities marry, so do regular people.
The animal rights groups that overreact. Many of those groups take a few examples, and say it happens at every place (when it doesn't). They just twist the truth around, to get more people to help them out.
Being taxed on a previous years tax refund always drives me up a tree. Wasn't this part of last year calculations and just a return of overpayment? Why is it treated as an income?
Lazy news reporters. Biggest example: Increase of gas prices due to refinery maintenance, politcal turmoil in the Mideast, Hurricanes, whatever the gas companies supply the news networks in their press statements. Then, reports of record profits by the same companies. Doesn't seem to be one eyebrow raised as if they can't put two and two together.
Local news is worse. I've been involved with local issues that when covered by local news, doesn't resemble what's really happening.

They need to seriously put more anti-spam laws into affect. If they can catch child molesters and that type of thing online, they should be able to stop many of these spammers as well.
I have a decent spam filter, where the spam emails going into a bulk folder, but spam is still a problem. If I don't check my email for a few days, bulk folder is up to 100 or so! It doesn't really take up email space, but it's just annoying.
People need to grow up, and stop spamming and find real jobs (instead of annoying many many people in the world). Same goes for junk snail mail, as well as people trying to sell things over the phone.
I still say if you want to develop a standup routine, just work the list here. The funniest stuff is the closest to the truth, and the truth is this stuff is bizarre when you think about it.

-People that type in all caps on the internet (in forum posts, email, etc). I suppose some do it, because they can't see the text. But a majority just do it for the hell of it, which is just annoying.
-People that honk their car horns way too much. Car horns shouldn't be abused, and used whenever someone is "road raging". In my opinion, there should be some kind of law against excess use of horns. People honk their horn, when they want someone to move (usually). Alot of the time, the person ahead of them is behind someone else or might have car problems or whatever. So honking doesn't just solve the problem.
people that call your house and it hangs up after the first ring...neighbors who have people visit and honk the horn non stop waiting for them to come out...people at boat launches who havent a clue how to back in a trailer...being the only one at a gas station and waiting 3 minutes to pay for gas...stupid people...the weathermen...people who tailgate my bumper for 50 miles then speed up to mach 1 to get around me only to slow down to 5 mph slower than what i was driving in the first place, then when you try to pass they speed up!...those damn yuppie kids with those huge tailpipes on those small cars thinking it looks cool...cars that drive by my house at 3 in the morning with enough bass pumping out that that earth shakes.....whew!...im spent now.
City Planners (what makes them so smart?) who spend years and tons of money developing industrial parks and giant shopping centers on the outer fringes of a city. Then, a few short years later, they scratch their heads and spend more money on consultants to to try and figure out how to "revitalize" the downtown areas.
They come in all shapes and sizes, and it don't end when the school years are over. They follow you to work. Cliques, trouble makers, insecure ungrateful people. That irks me enough to wish I could change the world.
People who tell you how to raise your children, who have never had children. Alcohol and drug counselors who advise people about problems, who have never had any problems themselves. Social workers (The SS), who have recieved all thier experience out of a book. Just a few things that come to mind that irk me.
I hate spam too and often wonder why they seem to be so incessant about sending the sos, because all I do is dump it BUT think of those poor unfortuates who actually fall for spam, they think Bill Gates is going to give them money, think they will get aids from a movie theater seat, the guy who thinks he needs breat augmenatation,the woman that need to extende her penis, all those tear-jerking stories where life will be changed by sending MORE email out.

I get SOOO irked when the clerk asks me if I want paper or plastic and I say paper and then they put my purchase in plastic! When I say I wanted paper they always say something about the plastic being better for whatever it is they put in there. I hate the plastic bags because the stuff inevitably falls out and is all over my car!! :?
