The one hair style I was glad to see go away was the 80s high bang thing. I could never get it done right! Hope to never see that come back again.
I'm pretty laid back with my hair it usually straight with various lengths from shoulder to longer. I use to perm it back years ago to have more of a loose curl but right now it's straight. Easier that way. Way to busy to bother with hair! lol
I like both curly and straight hairstyles. I've had both.
So, I'm guessing Dave would never date a woman with curly hair, makeup or dangling earrings according to other posts. I guess I'm safe around him then. hahahahha.
Love straight hair only because it's easy to take care of. lol I could never be a beautician and actually have to do 'hair styles'.
Easier to do someone else's hair instead of your own, plus if that's all you did everyday, you'd get pretty good at it.
My problem with being a beautician would be how critical I would be looking at other people's hair when I went out and about. I'd have to carry a scissors, comb and hairspray with me at all times just to fix people's hair. We had a discussion like this last night when looking at someone's mullet, then there was the skullet and someone with that '70s hair. Oh my!

I have to admit that I'm kinda getting a good giggle out of that blue. lol
I thought about changing my hair style this summer but didn't want to deal with the "in between" time while it was growing out. I used to have really long hair but got it cut shoulder length and permed about 28 years ago and have been perming it ever since. I figure I've probably spent close to $4,000 on perms over those years not to mention the hair products to maintain it!

It's awful how expensive it is to get hair done. We have an Academy here in Kenosha with students that will do everyone so much cheaper. That's one way to save big money and I've been there before but I have to admit it makes me nervous having them do my hair. I like experience hair dressers since one slip wrong can really damage the cut.
I always admired people who found a good style that enhanced their looks. No matter what style, either - just what ever is right for them. I cut my own.

There is a tech school in Fennimore that teaches cosmetology and people can go there for the students to practice on them. I don't think I would go there though.
I don't think I have ever dated a woman with really curly hair.. I don't mind a little wave or flip.. it's those tight poodle curls I hate.. and don't even get me started on braids or corn rows!
As for makeup, when you can see where it begins and ends, that's too much.
I do like eye shadow but earrings should be unobtrusive. If a parrot can swing in your hoop earrings, that's also too much.
