If I take a nap I have to sleep in my recliner. I've tried laying down on the couch or in bed and I just can't sleep there during the day time. I also use a sleep mask when i take a nap and the cat always has to be on my lap too.
I like to drool. Rarely do I drool when I'm unconscious. Most of my drooling is over food, or....
As for napping, I'm an accomplished napper (nappist). I take it to an all new level. My napping abilities are unsurpassed. I can siesta at will, with very little effort, expending a minimum of energy. I save my energy for the verification of a restful snooze.
Most times, my nap comes on a couch, although I have been known to nod off on a bale of hay or while rowing a boat.
I can sleep anywhere. I have even been caugh sleeping while waiting in a doctor's examination room. I can sleep anywhere but sometimes not in bed a 1:00 to 3:30 am. but thankfully that only happens now and then.
I have noticed that during those hours of the days television commercial to show time ratio is almost equal. I wonder why I bother with it at all.

I fell asleep in my recliner watching the telly last night...and I didn't wake up until almost six this morning! By then I thought why bother going to bed now since I had to be up at 7:00 anyhow. So I just dozed there awhile longer.
That would have been a blessing today. Someone should have warned me that the 1st and 2nd graders were doing their Christmas program today. I wanted ear plugs. I think that is the worst age for singing. Not one child could sing on key. It was the whole service. Ugh! I would have snuck out if I wasn't sitting in the middle of the row and didn't have to crawl over anyone. Thank goodness they let us escape 10 minutes early today, plus I was a little late so it made for a short service, but a long one. LOL

Now with my husband's current driving, I have to stay alert at all times to keep an eye on him. He hates me being such a worrywart. I can't help it!

I almost fall asleep in the car too, but while I'M driving! I can't drive for more than half an hour without wanting to fall asleep! I have to pull over and get out of the car and walk around before continuing driving just so I can stay awake! I've been like that for over 10 years now! It's kind of strange because I don't fall asleep while my husband drives. I think that's mainly because I have to keep an eye on his driving like you do with your hubby Blue. Mine is constantly looking off to the sides at everything when he's driving during the day, and at night, he has tunnel vision and doesn't see the deer standing along the road so I have to watch for them! Most of the times I drive just to save having to nag him about his driving. LOL

Playing the slot machine games on my computer does that to me! Watching the reels going around and around and around is very hypnotic! Just the other night I almost did a "Patti" on my keyboard three times before I decided I'd better go to bed! LOL

Yeah, I think it's called...you are totally addicted to the computer when you prop your eyes open to see longer syndrome. lol I wonder if there is help out there for that?
I was up til 5:30 am yesterday.. my buddie's daughter knocked on the door and woke me up about noon.. I have been so sleepy I've been hallucinating but yes, I'm still awake!

You wouldn't be able to drive to work as far as I do then. It takes me 50 minutes to get there. Usually the only reason I stop it to pee. Good thing there are lots of gas stations along the way. Of course, then I have to buy a soda or cappuccino for the road while I'm stopped.
