Six Innocent Topics Guaranteed To Start A Fight

So, I just saw this over at Cracked.com.. do you have any topics they might have missed?

Here are the topics they list as guaranteed to start a fight on a forum (my thoughts are in parentheses):

1. Declawing Cats (If you need to declaw a pet, you probably shouldn't have it)

2. To Tip Or Not To Tip (I'm generally against it unless the waiter/ess does an exceptional job or manages not to annoy me)

3. Does 0.9999 = 1? (Never heard of people arguing over this AND no rounding up for me, please)

4. Circumcisions (Free band-aids for everyone!)

5. Veganism (If God had wanted us to stick to a vegetable only diet, He wouldn't have made Burger King)

6. Dog Poop: To Scoop Or Not To Scoop (It's bio-degradeable, give me a break )

So, did we miss any taboo subjects?

I agree with pahleh. Politics!

99% of the fights involving politics come about when at least one participant is clueless about the facts. Skimming the headlines doesn't make one an expert on current affairs.

How about religion? I'm on another discussion board where they argue incessantly about religion. One person would say "You don't believe what I believe so you're an idiot" and vice versa, back and forth, over and over. Geesh! Thank goodness they have a separate forum for it now so all that arguing is no longer mixed in with the other topics.

Every forum should have an option to ignore members or turn off threads that annoy or offend you.
