We have many college kids (adults) coming in seeking summer work & several have said this exact phrase to us, about finishing school being pointless.

It's sad to say the least.

I'm sure you must see alot of desparate people in your field just out there looking and looking for a decent job.

My daughter finally found a job last Jan after months of looking. They had her fill out her forms etc. and they said they would put her on the schedule. Then they kept saying they weren't busy enough and kept putting her off.

Months of hitting the pavement looking for yet another job I think she just possibly found one. Keeping my fingers crossed for her to get the phone call that they totally hired her.

I tell ya, this is a girl that comes across as a good person, has excellent grades, good recommendations, duel languages etc. and there is nothing out there. She is starting college this Fall and wonders if going into debt is going to be worth it all when she is done.

Hopefully things turn around for everyone soon.
