I agree but those cereals have less expensive alternates such as store brands, Aldis etc.
Like I said before big flakes, small flakes. A mouthful is a mouthful.

Kellogg's Corn Flakes, Cheerios, Raisin Bran, Rice Krispies, Corn Pops, and Special K. = all down
Still, they average nearly a quarter billion bucks in sales each...
Cheerios multi-grain way up - makes sense for them to extend the brand.
The sweet one I like: Cap'n Crunch Store brand of it is good too Usually eat some kind of raisin bran often mixed with shredded wheat. I like oatmeal too.
We often buy deals like six boxes with $10 off and a free gallon of milk. A half dozen or more servings of food, whole meals really, for a few bucks - that's cheap. A dozen packs of oatmeal for a couple bucks on sale means six meals (a couple packs for each meal) for about 35 cents a meal. That's cheap!

Amazon always has good deals on cereal and you can Subscribe and Save where they send it to your house at intervals you select. If you have Amazon Prime, you can even get free shipping..

Someone gave me a box of Cocoa Puffs and I never really cared for them but they really weren't that bad this time around.. something about chocolate milk and breakfast food seems unnatural, lol!
Re: Is Your Brand Of Cereal On The No Longer Love List?
When I eat cereal, which is not often, it's either Post Raisin Bran or Cranberry Almond Crunch.
Post's cereal has bigger raisins than Kellogg's and they don't add sugar to the raisins.
I also like General Mills' Raisin Bran which has the best flakes, but the raisins aren't as nice as Post's. Yes, I analyze things to THAT degree.
The cranberry almond cereal is fantastic, but SO expensive.

I buy more off brand than name brand. Like I said before flake size, raisin size does not matter to me ,a mouthfull is a mouthfull.

Re: Is Your Brand Of Cereal On The No Longer Love List?
I haven't purchased/consumed dry cereal in years, perhaps decades, although I do rather enjoy "Crunch Berries". Not so fond of the "Capn' Crunch", but the "Crunch Berries" are a rush. It's been awhile, though.
Old Fashion Oatmeal (rolled oats) are what makes my morning meal the "all that". The instant is just too much like cat food, or something. It's weird.
As rule, I buy the store brand. Same deal, I just don't have the old Quaker guy to look at, or have him looking at me.
Toss have a fistful of raisins in as the water begins to boil, dump the oats in, set the temperature to low/medium low, and let it steep for a few minutes. If you add the oats just before the water boils, the texture is creamier than if the oats are added at a full boil.
After the oats/raisins have steeped for 15 minutes or so, I remove from the heat and add a tbsp. of cinnamon and a sprinkle of brown sugar.
A large glass of water, and a couple pails of coffee, I'm all set. Life is good with the "MrKhay Oatmeal Breakfast".
Just like God eats.

I'm with you....the old-fashioned oats are the best! Raisins are good, but I like dried cranberries or chopped dates and nuts in mine. Gallon of coffee works, too.
I like very stiff oatmeal with some half and half and a bit of sugar on it. No creamy oatmeal for me.
And I never eat cereal in the morning, always at night. In fact, I think I shall go make some right now.
