Ever stop to check out the job openings according to the Craigslist in your area? Well I have been looking for a job around here and this is what is offered for me (part time) to pick from when looking in our area.

(Keep in mind that the government keeps saying that 'new' jobs are out there to be had, just not what 'kind' of jobs!) lol

CRAIGS LIST WORK FOR OUR AREA (PART TIME):

This is the wonderful top choices I have had to pick from when looking through our area's craigslist for employment :

Jan 14 - Cold Caller - (Kenosha, WI)
Cold caller needed for new insurance agency. Three nights a week. 4:30 - 7pm. Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday Nights. Commission based starting out. Position will grow to part-time days & full-time if wanted. Only serious inquires please.

Seriously? Can somebody really be anxious to give this a job a try? Commission based? Think about that the next time someone interrupts your dinner and how this poor sap is not getting paid for every call they get told off, or hung up on. lol I have a feeling not alot of bills get paid off that job.

Be treated like the star you are and have your own personal assistant during your photo shoot. Photo shoots are 1-2days and are from 10a.m.-4p.m. with some scheduling flexibility. Kinda knew this job wasn't going to work out for me when I read I had to 'rock a latex dress! Couldn't imagine having to throw stones all day for a living! LOL

Talk about seasonal work and at the mercy of the Wisconsin weather! I can just see talking to a bill collector..honestly I will pay as soon as the flakes fall from the sky....

Jan 9 - HANDY MAN- JACK OF ALL TRADES Part Time - (Burlington Area) skilled trades/artisan

Jan 7 - Costumed Waver - (Menomonee Falls) customer service

OK, this was one of my favorites! Just think I could wear a costume and wave at everyone going by on the road all day. Whew, what an exhausting mind job. lol I had to pass it up seeing it would only be for a few months before tax season will end. ahhh to bad.


I was so excited on this..thought I could just go to Walmart, buy a carton of eggs and make a fortune....?

Be healthy and non-smoking
Be a High School Graduate
Be Mature and Responsible

They just had to throw in that I would have to be 20 -29 years old. and the worse part be MATRUE AND RESPONSIBLE. Isn't that discrimination? lol


Oh well maybe tomorrow will bring a better line of job openings.

Yes, I've seen ads like this for years suggesting an amount you can receive for the eggs. I totally could be wrong but I think it's for your 'service' and not actually for the eggs is how it's worded. Like I said I could be wrong on that but seems like someone explained that one time.

It's kinda like when men donate sperm and at some places they can also get paid for it.

Blood plasma you can also get paid. I know someone that goes on a regular basis and gets 40.00 each time.

Of course blood is a different concept and level than the other but just thought I would add that.

I went to the items wanted and found this ad below.


Hi, I am looking for gold, silver, or platinum, preferably for free. I could pay a small amount, since I live on a limited budget. If you have any lying around that you don't need anymore, I would be willing to drive a ways to pick it up. I need to use it for it's medicinal purposes. I have arthritis, and wearing precious metal may help lessen the pain in my joints. I have had multiple surgeries on my ankles and knees due to osteoarthritis from past injuries. Once my treatment is over, I will donate all of the gold, silver, and platinum to charity.

I look at Craigslist for jobs and have applied to some. I've gotten contacted on a few, but never hear back from them for an interview. I've only gotten one interview for a job from Craigslist and never heard back from them either. That was an ify job since the hours were crappy. I don't know how long I would last on third shift. Not for me.

I have something posted under the resume section and have gotten a few people with serious job offers. Either I don't hear back from them after I email my resume or the one time I could have gotten this job it was too far to drive. Doesn't that just figure?
