Sorry about that.
and I wanted to watch it . Perhaps the deceased beatles objected.
My favorite song (at this instant) is "Let it Be"
It seems to fit the demise of the Beatles.
But truth be told they never recorded a bad song, well maybe one.

....Now, a very great man once said
That some people rob you with a fountain pen
It didn’t take too long to find out
Just what he was talkin’ about
A lot of people don’t have much food on their table
But they got a lot of forks ’n’ knives
And they gotta cut somethin’....

When packing up and going through 'things' I came across some of my old Beatle collection of pictures, magazine stories, (Tiger Beat magazines) and trading cards! So many memories. I decided this 'stuff' will all to my son someday, I think he is the one that will appreciate it all the most.
I was in 4th grade when 8 Days a Week was still really stuck in my head....so, in class doing a math test and the story problem had us doing something where I had to add weeks together. I finished, sat down, and nearly panic!!! I added the weeks as if there were 8 DAYS IN A WEEK!! Fortunately my teacher was understanding when I quickly explained and she let me do the problem over with using 7 days when finding the solution. I think she was a Beatle fan too.

Some of that stuff many be worth using to pay for his college expenses.

My favorite song is "Yesterday." My hubby used to have a musical elf that played that song when we first got married. His grandma made it for him in a ceramics class.
Is there some special anniversary of the Beatles this year or something? My son's college marching band is doing all Beatles music this year too.

Amazon.com still doesn't offer a Beatles mp3 download.
It might be a Micheal Jackson thing, as he owned the entire Beatles catalog, but I thought I heard that Paul McCartney came to acquire it awhile back.
"Why Don't We Do It In The Road" is a cool tune. The door is always open as to what "It" might be.
I like the Paul McCartney composition "Birthday", as well. The local Rock'n'Roll radio station used to play it for me every year on my birthday.
"The best things in life are free
But you can keep 'em for the birds and bees.
Now gimme money (that's what I want)
That's what I want (that's what I want)
That's what I want (that's what I want), oh-yeh,
That's what I want."
Such insight!

"I am The Walrus is another composition by the genius team of John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Special insight into "A Day In The Life" of a Liverpoolian, or Liverpoolite, sitting by the side of the road, watching.
I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together.
See how they run like pigs from a gun, see how they fly.
I'm crying.
Sitting on a cornflake, waiting for the van to come.
Corporation tee-shirt, stupid bloody Tuesday.
Man, you been a naughty boy, you let your face grow long.
I am the eggman, they are the eggmen.
I am the walrus, goo goo g'joob.
Mister City Policeman sitting
Pretty little policemen in a row.
See how they fly like Lucy in the Sky, see how they run.
I'm crying, I'm crying.
I'm crying, I'm crying.
Yellow mustard custard, dripping from a dead dog's eye.
Crabalocker fishwife, pornographic priestess,
Boy, you been a naughty girl you let your knickers down.
I am the eggman, they are the eggmen.
I am the walrus, goo goo g'joob.
Sitting in an English garden waiting for the sun.
If the sun don't come, you get a tan
From standing in the English rain.
I am the eggman, they are the eggmen.
I am the walrus, goo goo g'joob g'goo goo g'joob.
Expert textpert choking smokers,
Don't you thing the joker laughs at you?
See how they smile like pigs in a sty,
See how they snied.
I'm crying.
Semolina pilchard, climbing up the Eiffel Tower.
Elementary penguin singing Hari Krishna.
Man, you should have seen them kicking Edgar Allan Poe.
I am the eggman, they are the eggmen.
I am the walrus, goo goo g'joob g'goo goo g'joob.
Goo goo g'joob g'goo goo g'joob g'goo... (etc.)
