What Foods Did You Hate As A Kid, But Love Now? - Page 3

This topic reminds me of a story I read the other day. It said the reason why most kids hate vegetables. Kids have a lot more taste buds than an adult, so vegetables can taste more bitter or have a stronger flavor. That explains kids being picky.

I still don't like half the veggies there are, but at least I give them a try a few times.

I've never tried asparagus with mayonnaise and don't think I'd like it but love asparagus now.. like most green vegetables.

I never saw such a hopeless mess on stage ever.. I'm not even sure they were singing (if you can call it that) in synch.. it sounded to me like they were all pretty much doing their own thing.

I will eat it deep fried, but only if I have to.. not one of those foods I'd need to eat.

LOL Carol, that's mostly true for me. I did make an effort to try all the stuff again as an adult, so just to make sure. Never hurts to try again.

One thing on top of the list of things you could not pay me to eat now is Sardines but I could eat them as a kid. Gross. As I said there was things I would eat back then that I won't touch now.

Does anyone like sardines now??

I use to really dislike Water Chestnuts when I was a kid but love them now.

I think I said that in another post. Like I'm pickier about the quality of the food.

You sure wouldn't tell by looking at me that I'm that picky.
