I needed $50 for a blood test a couple years ago, left the lab, walked a block away and found two $20 and a $10 laying in the grass beside the road. Went back and got the test done.
The Lord works in mysterious ways is all I can say.
That is a really weird coincidence Dave, but a good one for you.
I have strange things happen to me all the time. The other day, I called my mom just as she was trying to call me so we both got busy signals. It happens quite often that I will go to pick up the phone to call someone and it rings and it's the person I was going to call.
Once I kept track for a week of the "coincidences" that happened and there were eight in that one week. Four were on the same day! Two were phone calls when I was about to call someone, one was a letter in the mail from someone I had just been telling my husband that I hadn't heard from in awhile and the fourth incident was when I ran into a friend at the store that I had just had a dream about that very morning before I woke up! Weird!
My mom said that two of her older sisters had claimed they were a bit psychic and could see spirits besides. Now THAT would really freak me out! These were the same two aunts that had done genealogy research on our family before I took it over. I have to wonder if maybe there's a connection there somehow?
My son has had this thing bothering him for several years that where ever he goes, he sees the number 13 (not counting the calendar or clock). Recently, he called and asked me what I thought it meant because he had been seeing it even more than usual. I looked it up and found several explanations including the ones on this site:
Once at a public pay phone I was desperate for a dime to make an emergency call. I looked down without thinking and there was a dime.
Another time I lost a diamond and pearl (pierced) earring on a Chicago sidewalk, it fell out and I didn't notice til later that day, not knowing where it fell. I was very sad and kept thinking about it.
Exactly one week later, walking down the sidewalk I looked down in front of me and there it was, the earring. It was bent and I went and had the set made into a different style so they would never fall out again.
Just 4 days ago, I found a part to a table, that had been missing for over a year. It was right on the floor under the table. The strangest thing about it was that table had been dismantled and moved to another location 100 miles away, without that part the whole time. The table is glass with a simple metal frame, so there was no place for that part to be hidden and fall out later. Also, the rug under that table had been vacuumed and swept many times, but that part never showed up til one day when I was sitting at the table, not looking for it.
I was missing my pet ferret one day, happened to move a piece of furniture, and found his favorite toy left behind.. guess he was thinking about me too.
I had an aunt that actually made a good living as a psychic and my Mom would say that she always thought even though my aunt was good I was so much better. I often wondered if that was a good thing or not.
I have had more 'happenings' than I can ever even try to count. It's just part of my life I guess.
On the small side...So many times I will not even be thinking about the phone, yet without even realizing it I will reach over and pick it up before it rings and answer. Then I realized what I did. Strange.
More on the larger scale of happenings...I was sleeping one morning in a house that we were renting. (years ago). I woke up to someone shoveling snow right outside of my window in the driveway. I didn't think anyone was home so it bothered me enough to get up and look out. As soon as I did the shoveling sound that I could hear so clearly, stopped. I laid back down and again the shoveling started again. I looked all over and no one was outside of our house yet I clearly could hear the sounds of someone right outside of the house as soon as I laid back down.
Quite sometime later a neighbor was over talking and mentioned that we should watch out for sounds of shoveling in our driveway. Apparently the story goes that years back the original owner of the house was shoveling and had a heart attack in the driveway. He made it into the house and died on our kitchen floor. Only a few have ever heard the strange sounds (I had to be one of them) but there was stories from the past of the noises outside. Maybe he comes back to finish the job he didn't get to finish when he died.
Our neighbor had no idea that I heard the noise prior to him telling the story. Chills ran up my arms but it didn't surprise me.
So many stories but I'll save them for another time.
My mom used to make money reading people's cards.. she was so popular we had to change our phone number. She used to get stressed out from all the problems people had.

Yesterday when I sent an email, I happened to see the time stamp later in the day and realized I'd sent it at 3:33.
I'm not alone in this apparently.. there's even a church centered around the time 3:33.. according to legend, Jesus was 33 when he dies and died at 3 in the afternoon. Doing a Google search for 3:33 gets you this:
How about this one. One day my husband and I were riding bikes by this big old building that was falling apart. They talked about fixing it up, which seemed like it would cost too much to make this eye sore even presentable. My husband said "I wish that piece of crap would just burn down." The next day it did burn down. I sure hope no one heard us say that. LOL

Looked in the kitchen for a snack. Hadn't had Chef Boy-ar-dee ravioli in forver.. grabbed a can and as I popped it open heard "Hello! I am Chef Boy-ar-dee!" on the TV! I laughed out loud with that then turned to put ravioli in the microwave.. have been seeing 111, 222, and 333 a lot lately.. had forgot to reset the timer and 1:11 was on it!

Yeah, I learned the hard way to watch what I wished for. I have never forgotten an incident from when I was only 19!
I was working in a factory as head of the dept and I had one lady that just was a difficult old woman to put it nicely. Anyways, she again made me upset with her and as she walked away I thought to myself how I just wished something would happen to her (nothing drastic just trip and fall or something). It was just mere minutes after I had stared at her and thought that and it was like she read my mind as she had just turned to look back at me and walk to close to a skid of metal and cut her arm really bad and had to go and get stitches! I never told her what I was thinking but I tell ya, I never forgot how bad I felt. I actually found a way to be nice to her after that and we become somewhat civil to each other.
On 11-11-11 @ 11:11 p.m. I noticed that I had exactly 111,111 emails in inbox!
That was creepy!

....Now, a very great man once said
That some people rob you with a fountain pen
It didn’t take too long to find out
Just what he was talkin’ about
A lot of people don’t have much food on their table
But they got a lot of forks ’n’ knives
And they gotta cut somethin’....

I'm a firm believer in the Law of Attraction.. you get what you wish for.. like it or not.
I've wished many things, either good or bad, and many of them don't happen. It's just that when it does, you notice it and think you have special powers.
A ton of money, be it pennies or green back dollars,,,even that funny looking "yang money" the Japanese use, would do much more damage than knock you out, it would likely terminate you. I think a ton of anything dropping on your head would be effectually detrimental to your health. No doubt you'd suffer a concussion, probably leak some blood, and the tears.
Yakko: It's made of solid iron... Dot: It weighs a ton or two... Wakko: We know you'd like to meet it... All Together: It wants to meet you too!
For some reason I always seem to catch the clock at 3:33..
A sign of consistency.
The numeral 3 is the first prime number, and is also the second smallest prime number.
Three is the "trinity".
"3" is an awesome number. I have loads of 3's in my name, in regards to numerology. I've had folks claiming to be witches approach me out of the blue and ask me about "3".
