Personally, there's no excuse for linking to illegal files, whether you actively host them or not.

And the ISP's and SE's should be held accountable as well.. the crap that shows up in searches on Google doesn't belong there.. if you use suspect keywords during a search, why not place an interstitial notice informing the user they are potentialluy engaging in an illegal activity and asking if they wish to continue?

Why can ISP's host or provide access to newsgroups that contain illegal files? They shouldn't be exempt either.. the Net needs to be cleaned up IMHO.
