Talking Like It On Top Or On The Bottom Better?

Toilet paper.. it's a constant battle in our household.. should it stream off the top of the roll or off the bottom?

I hate it when the roll is on the bottom, coming out. It's like you always have to hit into the wall to get it. On top it is more accessible.

Re: Like It On Top Or On The Bottom Better?

I just realized that the commercial is for Cottonelle Toilet Paper. The poll is cute on the commercial but it certainly doesn't make me want to buy the product. I can't stand cottonelle and never buy it unless it's the only stuff in the store and I'm out of TP.

Definitely on top! Top is better because it is easier to get the right amount and the exact length that you need to get the job done right!

From the top, since it makes finding the end easier.

You people that say from the bottom need to explain why because I never found it easier. Too much fiddling around to find the end.

I wondered when I saw the topic but knowing Dave and just seeing the commercial I kinda guessed, toilet paper. But I wonder if people doing a google search for certain subjects may land on the bubbler now. lol

I have no idea about this commercial since I never really watch much TV. I don't know half the shows you talk about most of the time. Just not into TV much.

I actually had never seen the commercials until PK mentioned them and I did a Google search.. for the record, I hate Cottonelle.. I make Misty buy a certain brand from Dollar General... none of that quilted, soft TP for me..

Cottonelle smelled like chemicals the last time my husband bought it. Made the whole bathroom smell funny.

No quilted TP? Dave, are you saying you like sand paper?

My kids complain because they do like the soft stuff. but 'Mom' buys SCOTT. It last longer, has more on a roll, and doesn't have all the nasty fibers and fall apart like most 'soft' kind.

Wow, we do talk about some weird things on our forums, no wonder we always have a large audience of onlookers, (guests)....we keep them all entertained. lol

I hate the fibers from Cottonelle. That's the brand I've had the most problems with.

I won't buy that 1-ply extra thin stuff either. That's what you get in a public bathroom and you pull on it without it ripping in 20 pieces.

I don't like the soft stuff because it crumbles and falls apart.. I get 5000 sheet 2 ply from DG.. 4 rolls last a month or more.

Have you ever noticed it seems as if the Chinese Restaurants have the dirtiest bathrooms and they always have this cheap junkie 1 ply TP? Then it seems they squeeze the roll a little so it just won't roll off easy. So of course being thin and cheap it comes off one piece at time like you just mentioned.

Oh I hate working and working trying to get each little piece and it sounds like you are using up a ton of TP from all the noise you are making if anyone else is in there listening to it. lol

Oh the problems in life.

LOL I can just see Dave lugging home his 4 pack of 5,000 sheets each..makes 20,000 sheets!! He must wheelbarrow it into the house. Then putting it on the roll on the wall you must have an extendor so it will fit there.

ROTFLMAO!
