If you are a very small child and suddenly you have this big guy dressed all in bright red with all this strange white hair every where so that you can hardly see anything but his eyes...and then they want you to sit on his lap while he talks loud to you...wouldn't you be scared too? lol

I'm amazed that so many kids actually take to a Santa right away and willingly sit on his lap.

Thinking about it, you teach your children not to go to strangers, not to accept candy or talk to strangers or go close enough for them to reach out to you.

But we then encourage them to sit on a strange Santa's lap, and even go trick or treating where you are taking candy from strangers, no wonder kids grow up confused. lol
