LOL @ you begging her to not make it so hard for you!
Me thinks we need an adult side section/forum to be naughty in lol
I don't normally join forums that are kid friendly.. you have no idea how hard it is for me sometimes... especially since you joined YEP i blame YOU!
No i take that back - You OBVIOUSLY know how hard it is for me...
omg i soooo wanna call myself out on that last sentance, but again, i wont lol
I'm sure a separate section won't happen - give the name of another forum you're on, or start a google group or something. I'd make sure to also still post on here. Don't want to go somewhere besides the Bubbler, maybe along with the Bubbler.

It's free to create forums online... can still moderate it & what not, many of the same features as a paid to make site (except the domain name), without the perks.. mods, members & admin have the same abilities etc... we use to create them for storage space & practice of set ups etc... when i did online graphics for other forums.
Just gotta follow the host sites rules of no X-rated pics... In fact i created one a few days ago for someone to use for practice

We'll talk.
The measures we go to, just to be naughty lol
Oh wait, not sur that would work for me... I probably wouldn't be able to access a free one (from work during the day) because they usually have the word 'forum' in the address & work blocks those & it seems you don't get online from home soooo hmmm um hmmm
A couple years ago I went out as a woman sitting on a toilet. I made the toilet myself out of chicken wire and paper mache and then painted it. I made the tank out of cardboard and even velcroed a Kleenex box on the tank and installed a real toilet handle. Then I made fake legs hanging over the toilet and I carried a plunger. I won for most original costume.
Waaay back in the '80s a friend and I made beer can costumes and then we all went out as a six pack of Old Style. We got first place at the Country Club that time. I also made costumes for both of my kids that year. One was a Sprite can and the other was a can of 7 Up.
This year we aren't going out since Halloween is on a Saturday and most places are having their contests the same night at trick-or-treating is. I will still dress up but it won't be as elaborate this time...I'm thinking maybe just a hippie costume. We always have friends come over and some of them dress up too. I have food and punch or cider for anyone that wants to stay awhile for a bite to eat. It's been a tradition ever since we moved here and I think people pretty much expect it now. That way they don't have to fix supper for their families before heading out for the "candy begging."
We have always celebrated Halloween here. I decorate my front porch like a dungeon and I have the fog machine going outside along with some scary music and sounds. We end up getting more trick-or-treaters here than the neighbors do because the kids like to come see the decorations. My son says we go way over board on the decorating but we have fun scaring people. It probably goes back to when we used to help at the Jaycees Haunted house every year. My husband scared some middle school kids so bad once that they wet themselves! I also got punched a few times when I scared someone. After that, you kind of learn to wear a padded costume or else duck quickly!
It amazes me that people still take their kids door to door, There's no way i'd do that these days... I always stuck to neighborhoods i was familiar with & my family was well known in the town, so we pretty much knew someone at every other house. However, i stopped doing it early on & started only hitting local businesses & friends homes, followed by a kids party or what not.
LOL @ getting punched a few times while scaring people, that's too funny Cindy! Do you decorate bigtime for all holidays?
I think it's ok to go door to door if adults are along. Ours is in the during the day here which makes it a bit easier to see. When I was little we went at night and always with a group of neighbor kids. What a blast that was.
I always remember hearing stories about razor blades and needles in candy, but no one never found anything.

I was trying to find last year's Halloween costume thread, because it lists a bunch of different costumes I've done. I had no luck finding it and I'm too lazy to go through listing all the ones I did.

We're very well know around here since my husband was born and raised in this town...actually it's an unincorporated village so it's not really even a town. LOL Plus everyone knows him through his job so we get lots of kids coming here. The parents always drive them here since we live in a part of town that is set off from the rest by the airport and there are only nine houses at our end.

Ya...it was kind of a shock the first time it happened! It wasn't a hard hit...just a natural reaction to being scared I guess.
Yes, I do decorate for all the holidays. Although I don't do as much at Thanksgiving unless I'm hosting the family get together that year. We always have our family gatherings on the weekend so Thanksgiving day isn't that big of a deal. Christmas is another holiday I like to decorate for though. My neighbor across the street and I used to have a contest to see who could decorate their yard the most. But a couple years ago he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and now he doesn't put out as much stuff anymore. He did put some Halloween decorations out this week but he also put up some Christmas lights which he has been turning on at night. I am thinking he may be confused a bit or maybe he didn't have enough lights for Halloween so used the Christmas ones.
I haven't had a single kid stop by my door in the 5 years I've lived here.. I can recall literally hundreds of kids on the streets while growing up.

We got one of the kids (Eli) a Scooby costume, turned out it was too big for him but it does fit his sister, Krystal. We won't have the kids this weekend for Halloween so far as I know - I think they'll be going with their dad this year.
Anyone seen the costume selections online? Just about anything you can imagine is available.
