HONG KONG, China (CNN) -- If you like to search for "music lyrics" or "free" things, you are engaging in risky cyber behavior. And "free music downloads" puts 20 percent of Web surfers in harm's way of malicious software, known as "malware."

A new research report by U.S.-based antivirus software company McAfee has identified the most dangerous Internet search words that place users on pages with a higher likelihood of cyber attacks.

I hate free downloads that force the user to install additional toolbars etc.. unfortunately alot of people don't know better and do a full install.

Surprised no one commented on this.. in fact, my girlfriend was looking for MySpace backgrounds and I had to warn her off most of the sites she was clicking because they harbored all types of spyware/malware.

Actually this is a very important post for members to read. I am also surprised that no one has commented. Actually I never read it until I saw it just now.

Perhaps a bit different wording in the title such as a WARNING, Dangerous Search Terms..or perhaps: BEWARE, etc. that would peek interest and concern more. Also maybe a placement in the tech section instead of the Break Room?

I know one download that so many people think are safe are the free 'smileys' that ask you to add a toolbar. I have told so many people that use this how they can get a virus from this 'tool' they have added.

Just because it smiles at you doesn't mean it's safe. I know I fell for that and downloaded the smiles years ago and found out that alot of frowns came attached to it.
