Will robots take over our jobs - Yes?

They've always said one day robots would do the jobs that us humans do. Well it's happening.

So far these robots are doing the job as a receptionist in offices and hospitals. Read more about this robot below.

Re: Will robots take over our jobs - Yes?

LoL, I cant stand the Robophone systems,(press1 if.....) and if possible take my business somewhere that doesn't use them. I would go into fits of rage if I ever went somewhere to meet a real person and was meet by a robot. It would most definitely be the last time I did business with that place.

It should be pretty obvious that I like my tech, but there is a point when it is simply being abused, and in this case used to eliminate customer service.

which explains why you would have to literally drag me kicking and cussing into a home depot. There are no cashiers to ring up the sale, so they get no money.

can anyone say Robocall centers.
I always hang up with out even considering who the idiot on the other end might be.

Yes, Mr Doyle. Including you, and your buddy's.

I agree!

Mine & my sons Dr's & pharmacy are now using the kiosk system to sign in & request refills. I choose to walk up to the receptionist to say i'm there, but usually i just walk in and they nod their head to let us know they see us arrive & i just go sit, avoiding the machine.

I sedom go in to request a refill at wal-greens, instead when i call & the automated "press 1 to request refill" message begins i press 0 to get a pharmacist... I avoid talking to a machine if possible.
