Well, ultimately it cost me $75 as I had the item pre-sold to a neighbor.. and yes, I was kind of steamed they at least didn't let me know. I sat here all day waiting.
I contacted the seller and she insisted it was well packed.. and of course, won't make a refund until she gets it back and makes a claim with UPS.
The item itself only cost me $9 but I don't want to be out the shipping under the circumstances.

Actually that was good they caught that and they made the decision to send it back. That way the sender couldn't say you broke it and was trying to get a refund. .. but you think the carrier could have contacted you about this right away rather than make you wait.
