Why Patrick Swayze? Why Farrah Fawcett?

I had never heard of Mickelson before reading this post.

Having lost some of the most important people in my life to many forms of cancer, including breast cancer, my thoughts & prayers go out to anyone who suffers from cancer & the loved ones who suffer along with them. Good for him, taking an indefinite leave from the tour, to be with her. May the good lord watch over her in this time of need.

We just lost a co-worker on Sunday to cancer, never having smoked a cig in her life she was diagnosed with lung cancer on May 5th & died on May 16th. That's less than 2 weeks after being diagnosed & it was quicker than expected by anyone, including her Doctors.

I truly hope to see a cure for cancer in my lifetime.

I wish there would be a cure for cancer also. It's good that they are getting better at treating cancer and diagnosing it sooner. That has saved many lives.

As a kid and young adult I didn't know anyone with cancer, now I could easily name of dozens of people that had it that I know.
