That annoys me as well & it's not just the young teen smokers its grown azz adults doing it, i tend to ask them what they expect to come of packing them for an hour?
I know the purpose behind packing them & smoking an unpacked cig sux BUT 5 min?? that's a bit carried away.

Oh the CD wrapping.. i never did understand that!! WHY isn't there a pull tab that you can just pull & unravel the plastic or something? some companies use to do that & when you would pull it would just break off, still making it impossible to open easily... do they still wrap cd's in that tight plastic? I haven't bought music in years, but i know dvd movies come that way... so annoying!

ick... men i almost expect to be that nasty lol women amaze me... boogers smeared on the bathroom walls, used tampons on the floor etc... no class & simply disgusting.
I was just saying the other day that out of 7 stalls in one of the work bathrooms only 2 locks work & in another we have 3 stalls & 1 works. One of the girls who works in another department uses the work showers because she goes to a second job from there each day, she said they keep the showers very clean but in one locker room none of the doors latch so you have to hold the door with one hand while you shower, which is the case on more than half the showers in all locker rooms... now THAT i'd be really complaining to the right people about, but i shower at home don't know that i'd ever shower in a 'public' shower.

I don't know why locks don't get fixed. Is that so hard to do? I don't enjoy hold a door with one hand while peeing. It's hard to do and then try pulling up pants while doing that.
LOL I laughed at your booger comment, I don't know why.

GROSS! The worst public restroom I've ever been in was in New York City. The toilet wouldn't even flush and there was everything you could imagine in it, on the walls and on the floors...and this was in a food court that had five restaurants in it. Needless to say, we didn't eat any food there!

I don't know why some places can't fix their locks. When my son was in high school, we used the old gymnasium for events like the school plays and choir lunches, ect. and people complained that none of the locks worked on the stalls in the women's restroom but the maintenance guy never seemed to have time to fix them. So, one day about five years ago I took it upon myself to do so. I went to the hardware store and bought new locks and along with my trusty screwdriver, I had them all installed and working in short order. I was there for an event recently and noticed that the same locks I put on are still working great. Guess if you want it fixed right, have a woman do it!

Yuck! I hate people that spit and the ones that are so noisy about it clearing the loogy from their throat are so gross. I've see people spit in bubblers and the slime just won't was down. Used to work with a guy like that and we made fun of him for that (behind back of course). One girl used to rip on him for that and his Mickey mouse voice, then few months later she dates him and ended up marrying him.

She must have discovered something about him that could make her overlook his annoying habit. lol You never know about life and what is going to happen in the future. Almost makes you think twice about laughing behind some one's back doesn't it? lol
I remember one time years ago how we use to laugh behind this one person's back at work. She had so many annoying habits, she always tossed her hair back as if she was some model, walked around with her nose up in the air, thought she was all that etc. etc. .. lol Well, it took quite a while but suddenly we started talking and became the best of friends. I always felt bad that we laughed behind her back for so long and didn't stop to get to know her better from the start.

Re: Pet Peeves...
Trust me on this one, Mickey Mouse voice was gross and a loser. It wasn't just because we didn't get to know him...ewwww! Maybe it was the drugs that attracted her. Her old nickname was toots, if you know what I mean. He ended up getting busted for growing pot in his basement and selling it. She ended up divorcing him. They had two kids together and I don't even want to think about that..yuck! Maybe he spit a big green loogy on her lol.
She is ok now after having kids, she settled down and got away from the partying years ago. She has dated my brother in law twice back in the '80s and then again a few years ago. The second time they got engaged, but she left him. My BIL isn't an easy person to get along with and he drinks and smokes too much. She didn't want that around her teenage kids. Her daughter hated my BIL and I can't say I blame the kid. He probably was a pain in the butt.
This is the same girl with all the blue eye shadow that was with my husband the first time I met him. He was just friends with her and not attracted to her. She was using my husband for her connection to my BIL who had broke up with her. That was why back in the '80s. She wanted to beat me up when I started dating my husband. She said I was staring at her, but she was staring at me all night and I couldn't figure out why. It made me uncomfortable. I hate people that get all angry because you look at them. Anyway it gets funnier yet. Shortly after that I ended up working at the same place with her and right across from her at this factory. It was ok though, neither of us had an issue with it and got along ok. By then she was used to me dating my husband and didn't care anymore.
She is a much better person today then back then. I don't have any problems with her.

Re: Pet Peeves...
pet peeve: mosquitoes!
Ants in my house, every summer they find a new place to come in. I've plugged up holes and removed baseboards to fill their entrance with silicone. They just find a new spot. This year's hot spot in behind my toilet. This is strange because my bathroom is in the center of the house and upstairs. There is no wall facing the outside of the house. Not sure how they made it this far. Not sure what's by the toilet. Do they like toilet cleaners? Then again I see them eat nail clippings when I go outside to trim my nails. They eat anything.

Ants and BIG spiders both.. I hate to get either and everytime I open my door, seems like a big spider is trying to run in before I close the door.

Re: Pet Peeves...
Ants will crawl away from:
cinnamon
mint
red chili powder
black pepper
Sprinkle any of the above on counter tops or cupboards. You can also spread red chili powder or cinnamon around the outside of the house near to the house/ground as possible.
Plant mint and cloves in windowsills or outdoor gardens also helps reduce ants from close to your house.
Also, Bay leaves dipped into mint mouthwash and placed around the food pantry.
Ants will not cross a line of chalk or Vaseline so make a line with either by windows and door.
Sprinkling baby powder near doors (or places you think they are entering the house) is also helpful.
Since ants hate vinegar you can mix equal parts of vinegar and water and spray your counters/food areas/ toilet, cracks with this. Just make sure animals or small kids will not get into this.
Another hint for hummingbird feeders that may have problems filling up with ants or attracting ants, draw a chalk line around the bottom of the feeder, ants will not cross the line.

Re: Pet Peeves...
Stupid people! Not those who are born that way (they can't help it) but those who CHOOSE to be that way! That's one of my biggest pet peeves. I don't know if I've just gotten to the age where I can't tolerate them anymore or what. I'm sure they've always been around but maybe I notice them more now that I'm older? Or maybe it's from having to deal with so many of them through our business? They drive me nuts...especially when they think they are right and I'm wrong even though we've been doing business for over 30 years! Geesh!

Wouldn't the Vaseline be messy? I wouldn't want to clean up that mess.
Also mint in a garden can spread like crazy, so be careful or it'll be all over your yard.

I think mint planted in containers or pots situated next to the house may work? You are right about it spreading, so in pots it may help contain it. When we first moved here cat nip and mint was in a few places. Within a short time it was everywhere. 15 years later I still pull the stuff up.
I was thinking the same thing about Vaseline but maybe a thin layer is all that is needed and on windows it would help them move up and down easier? Maybe you can paint it on with a small brush next to the bottom of the house? But still that seems nasty because the dirt would stick to it. I really don't have a clue how to do this tip but just read it and wanted to pass it on. lol Not sure but I think I would pass on both the mint and Vaseline.
If anyone can figure out how to use Vaseline to keep the ants out please share it. I certainly not sure how it's done.
The cinnamon sprinkled around or red pepper is the tips I seem to hear about the most and they seem the easiest. You can buy large amounts at the dollar store of either one.

I agree! I been there a few times. Most recently a stink coming from my garbage disposal, tried all the citrus stuff, vinegar, baking soda, ice & other tips found online & from friends... the smell is still there. I even called the county to make sure there wasnt sewage work going on... i'm guessing its from yrs of build up on the inner walls as im told, but i have scrubbed beyond belief & i want to fix it without taking it apart, i'm sure to mess that up!

Pet Peeves: Diet aides that advertise you can lose a bunch of weight no matter what you eat. It's sad how much people waste $$ on products that are so not going to work.
Want to lose weight? Quit eating the wrong foods.
