Most commercials are annoying. lol I use them as mini breaks from what I am watching to either take a quickie nap or run and do something (bathroom break, grab some popcorn etc).
I am a dvr addict, I haven't watched a commercial in a very long time.
I think it is crazy that our city has many intersections that has no STOP SIGN, or YIELD SIGNS. What is with that? Is this city to cheap that they can't afford to make our intersections safe?
Anyone else have this problem in their town/city?

yes pk, every community has unmarked intersections. The national association for automobile collision repair or "AACR" for short has a huge lobby thus palms get greased so we skid and crash
by the way
"Is this city to cheap ..." is incorrect use of the English language
it should read
Is this city toocheap
have a nice day and be careful of those unmarked intersections
...Them's got ears, let them hear
Them's got eyes, let them see
Turn your eyes to the lord of the skies
Take this airline plane
It'll take you home again

Yep...our little village we live in until last fall. We have people speeding by our house all the time and the neighbors have complained to the cops a lot. There used to be a speed limit sign just as you came into town but some one knocked it down and it didn't get put back up. I finally contacted the highway department and they told me that they were going to be putting up all new signs in town in early spring. They put up some "low flying aircraft" signs right away last spring but didn't get the rest of the signs done until late fall.
Also, the town where I shop doesn't have stop signs on the majority of their side streets and there are numerous intersections that are very busy. Now they are considering putting in round-a-bouts in three or four spots on the major highway that goes through town from Madison to LaCrosse! They evidently aren't taking into consideration all the semi trucks that use that route. They don't realize how hard round-a-bouts are for truck to get through!

Our problem isn't so much the stop signs as it is the roundabouts... we have a million of those & they suck!
The AT&T one was annoying, but there are hundreds for the micky d's fillet o fish on youtube, not sure which one you are talking about, but the song for those commercials is enough for me to mute.
Here it is. I found it just by googling "mcdonald's filet o fish commercial." This site shows that I'm not the only on annoyed with it. I've only heard it on the radio without the video. Didn't even know there was a TV commercial version of it.

My husband can tell you all about that. Maybe the trucks will just drive right over the cement part in the center like I've seen some do and I've seen cars do it on purpose.
I hate roundabouts. They are worse when there's more exits off it or more lanes. People always freak out when they go on them, because they don't know where to go.

Just when you thought the McD's fish commercial was annoying, it gets worse. They came out with a Billy Bass singing fish that sings the song from that commercial. I saw it at Walgreen's and when someone played the song I wanted to drive spikes in my ears and run out the door.
Pet peeve: when I have to wait 15 seconds to do a search for new posts on the Bubbler after I clicked the wrong option first. Why do we have to wait 15 seconds? Those are some long 15 seconds at times.
First, dump a little out and it won't be messy, duh. lol
Problem was I added some banana liquor to the water first before heating it up and didn't want to waste any. mmmm banana and hot chocolate together was so good.
Pet Peeve: When you just get used to something and they change it on you!
I had finally gotten used to how the photo machines worked at Wal Mart and now they got new ones that work differently. Like all things that people think they are changing for the better, they ended up being more complicated and harder to figure out! With these new ones, after you choose which pictures to print and figure out the goofy way to edit them, the machine prints out a slip with a bar code on it that you have to take to the other part of the machine to scan it before it will start to print your pictures. Then after waiting for what seems like a very long time, because the machine doesn't tell you when it's done, then you have to scan the slip again in order to open the door to take your pictures out of the machine! It just seems like a lot of extra work for no reason that I could see! Phooey!
I use to go to Walmart all the time for copies of my pictures until they CHANGED the machine! I swear they went out and found the most complicated one that never works and put it in the store. I quit using it and go over to our Walgreens. If you have any problem they are right there and will help you.

My pet peeve: McDonald bullies!
People budging in line at the McDonalds duo drive through.
When you place your order you wait for the person in the line over from you to move up and then it's your turn. How hard is that? But every once in a while you get that car that just has to slide right into line after giving their order as if you are not sitting there trying to merge in. grrrr

Pet peeve: People that ignore you, whether it be in person or online. I don't know if people do it on purpose or accidental. I suppose it depends on the person, so it could be either.
People that I know from online and just from seeing bands at the same bars and they tell you to go see this or that band with them. Then they don't say much to you at the bar or run off to go talk to others all night. My husband and I try our best to be friendly when we see people, but I guess some can't return the friendliness.
People that always ignore your comments online, but want everyone to comment on theirs. Facebook is like that quite often. I try to read and comment on everyone's comments there. It isn't too hard for me since I have a small number of friends. I don't believe in the 800+ friends that you hardly know.
These are just examples of people ignoring others, but there are other situations it happens.

I wish they had a Walgreens here. The closest one is over half an hour away in Reedsburg.

I know! Facebook is terrible for that! I think people tend to ignore others more on line since it's not as personal, but it is still quite rude none the less!

They have DUO drive throughs at McDonalds now? I don't think I've ever seen one. They must be really busy to have two lanes for the drive through!

Not just Facebook, but myspace was even worse. Twitter is terrible and that's supposed to be all about socializing. In forums I've felt that people ignore things that one would think gets lots of comments or attention. I have to say that even happens here at times. It's everywhere. I just hope that I'm not boring people all the time.
