13 Year old boy robs bank in Illinois

Peoria, IL: A 13 year old boy was taken into custody Monday after allegedly robbing a Peoria bank.

Police said the boy was armed with a semi–automatic handgun, and took an undetermined amount of cash.

What happened to the good old days when we had squirt guns?

Wow they are considering charging him as an adult to face a possible 30 years... these kids now days just don't get it!!

How sad for his family, assuming they are not involved.

When we were kids we just pretended to be cops and robbers as we called it. Maybe not at age 13 we didn't do that, but still.

If you ever drove thru, or stopped in Peoria you would understand.
For a city with just a tad over 110,000 people the crime rate is unbelievable, always over the national average.
