Police ticket noisy elementary school Fitness Day prompts neighbor's complaint to Texas authorities
SAN ANTONIO - A fed-up Texas homeowner has gotten a noise citation issued against his neighbor — an elementary school.
Police in suburban Universal City say they had to issue the citation after Butch Armstrong complained about the noise coming from Olympia Elementary School during the school's Family Fitness Day on March 20.
Principal Terri LeBleu says the school had already built a fence, removed loudspeakers and installed noise-reducing backing on basketball goals in response to Armstrong's previous complaints.
Sounds to me like this guy just doesn't like the noise coming from the kids themselves... I don't like that sound either, but to live next to a school & complain? Seems like a grumpy old man who would find something else to complain about if the school wasn't there.

According to a police report, Armstrong told an officer that "police, fire, ambulances and the (Air Force) training jets are not unreasonable, but the noise coming from the elementary school was."
Oh, he had better move before next Halloween LOLOL. I really dont condone egging a house,,, but this guy deserves it!!!!!!!!!!!!!... Get out the TP too!!!!
This is the kind of person who would log a complaint against a church for singing too lound on Sunday mornings. I have lived next to churches and I loved being woke up to the sound of church bells and signing. Can think of things alot worse.

Oh i'm sure the kids just love this man, I bet they will show their love for him as well lol
These people need to think about those things before they move next to a place like a school.
Kind of sounds like the complaints that one of the grocery stores got that my husband delivers to. The neighbor didn't like the semi headlights shining at his house so early in the morning when they were making deliveries. Well then don't move next to the grocery store! Buy some good heavy shades for the windows for cryin' out loud.
Oh that is crazy. You live next to something that you know is going to have noise then you deal with it. I wonder if he lived there for many years before the school was built? Just a thought.
I remember my first marriage and when we bought our first house. It was a nice house but next to a welding company. They would start up very early in the morning and with a small crane they would move huge beams for buildings off the trucks and then drop them to the ground. It could wake the dead...it certainly shook the house when one dropped! lol Did I complain??? Heck no, we knew it when we moved in but it was a nice house and very low price. I just figured we knew it going in so we lived with it.
We only stayed a few years and then sold it with a profit.
The sausage factory I worked at in Sheboygan was right on the edge of residential/industrial zone. Our choppers and grinders made plenty of noise. We weren't allowed to operate any of these machines before 6 am, or after 10 pm. That helped keep the day short.
I thought of this post a few weeks ago (funny how the bubbler is in our every day lives) lol ... anyways, I went by a Church that had a band that was playing really loud. Wonder if people call on Church noise as well.
