March 18th is Forgive Mom and Dad Day

There isn't a parent alive who hasn't made a mistake at one time or another. After all, parents are human too..

Sis got an extra slice of pie when you were 11?

Mom always wished you could be more like "that nice boy down the street" when you knew he was a bigger jerk than you'd ever be?

Parents stiffed you on that bike at Christmas time?

Or maybe it's something more recent that you've had a hard time forgiving?

In any case, now is the time to forgive those crazy people who brought you into this world.. some of us can't because our parents have passed on, but for those of you who can, call your mom and dad and let them know you still love them.. even if you couldn't have a pony.

It's not only forgive mom and dad day, It's also 'supreme sacrifice day' and 'awkward moments day'... so go out & make a supreme sacrifice & create an awkward moment

These are all so-called "holidays" i never heard of, but make me giggle.

I didn't see my dad before he died.. hadn't seen him for nearly 30 years and didn't hear from him until shortly before he passed away from cancer.

I wish I'd spent alot more time appreciating my mom for the amazing woman she was before she passed away.

I miss them both alot..
