I got 38 on the first try and 53 the second time. I know more than that, but spelling counts and I got stuck on a few. Timer goes faster than you think. There are 195 countries total.

I remember doing this test and Columbia didn't work. I thought there was a couple others that didn't work.

I wonder if England is covered under United Kingdom.

They changed the site since I posted this. It was originally 5 minutes and no map was shown. You just typed away. I think I did better when they didn't have the map since I spent too much time staring at the map trying to guess. When there's no map you are forced to think a little harder. Those dang African countries are the ones that I can't remember. Forget about trying to spell some of those names that end in stan.

I noticed the test now says they have to be sovereign countries and England and Scotland don't work. They are covered under United Kingdom.

I know every time I've taken this test I go back and groan at the ones I missed. Like how did I forget that??

Dave, you're giving up before you even tried. You probably know more that you think you know. It's a fun way to brush up on your geography anyways. The new map colors them in as you get them correct. Handy learning tool.

Yikes, I just did this again and think I did worse then before. My problem is I get stuck on the spelling of some of the countries and waste to much time trying to figure out how to spell the darn name.

Don't worry, by the next time you play it you'll forget the ones you looked up and get the same score. LOL That's what happens to me.

There's some that I never heard of. Makes you wonder how you can't know all those names. It just seems that I should have heard the names at some point.
