According to Chase's Calendar of Event's, "Middle Name Pride Day" falls in March on the Friday of "Name Pride Week" which occurs in the first full week of March.
Most sources, including Chase's, note that the proper way to celebrate "Middle Name Pride Day" is to take pride in your middle given name[s] and to reveal it [them] to at least three other people.
My first name is actually David Allen (Alan) and people called me D.A. for short all my life up until about 5 years ago. My middle name is Ross, after my uncle. I was named after my father Hubert David and a men's clothing store in Miami Beach.
My one brother's middle name is Quinton, after a character my mom liked on a tv show, if I recall correctly. His first name is George and he goes by Quinn.
My other brother is Brian Keith. His middle name is Clark, after William Clark from the Lewis and Clark expedition.
Dave's family has plenty of extras...borrow one of theirs.
Regards,
Keith
LMAO that's funny!
I use to have my moms maiden name as my middle name.
When i was 14 my mom asked them to remove my (too many) last names and add my step dads as the only last name... they did that, however they also dropped my middle name & changed my first name from margaret to Margarita... we didnt ask for that, but my mom didnt check it before leaving (dumb move i know) & that's how i ended up with no middle name & only 1 last name instead of a bunch of last names... I liked the new first name better, wanted only my 1 last name & hated my moms maiden name so it worked out nice for me.
I think Margarita is kind of cool sounding. You could always shorten it to Rita. With Margaret it would be Margie or Marg. That makes me think of the Simpsons and a big blue hairdo LOL.
Maybe I should change my name to some kind of alcohol to get free drinks.
Mark derives from Mars....warrior. I'm named after Saint Mark the Evangelist. Saint Mark was a Roman Soldier at the time that he became one of Jesus' apostles.
Middle name is David, came from an uncle (mother's brother). David, as in "King David". A "Warrior King".

Tequila would be a good name Blue. I think I would choose something I actually like to drink for my name so I wouldn't get free drinks of something icky. I wonder if I could change it to "Yukon Jack"? LOL

By the time i was 14 & had it changed, I was known as Margie so it stuck. In 2001 i started interpreting for local businesses, hospitals, courts etc... & the latinos called me by my full name (Margarita), i got use to it & no one calls me Margie or even knows me by that anymore except my family & old friends, they all still call me Margie, but i don't like it.

I guess I would never change my name to Jagermeister, since I hate the stuff. I don't understand why it's so popular to drink something that tastes like cough medicine. I can think if much tastier things to drink.

If I tell you, then I can't hide in secret here anymore LOL.
