It brought tears to my eyes when they gave Jerry Lewis a special award tonight. He's devoted so much of his life to raising money for MD and he's always been one of my favorite celebrities too.

I also cry every year when they show all the actors that have passed away since last years Oscars. I guess I'm a bit sentimental.

Wow forgot it was on. Our whole family went out to our #1 pizza place in Illinois so didn't watch it. Easier to just watch the outcome on the net anyways.

Slumdog Millionaire won something like 8 Oscars plus best picture. Seen the movie, was quite good.

I didn't know the Oscars were on, but I knew it was coming up. I haven't watched them in years, but I always check to see who won in the end.

Oh yes, Laverne & Shirley always made me laugh. I liked how Lenny and Squiggy always came in at just the right moment.

According to my kids and their friends who've seen just about everything, Slum Dog and The Dark Knight were two of the best.
