Upper Crust Pizzeria - Pell Lake?

Have you ever eaten at the Upper Crust Pizzeria in Pell Lake? You simply must try it you are ever passing through that area. They have the BEST pizza in the world and my family will attest to that.

We discovered the place when we lived in Elkhorn 15 years ago and now, when ever we are down that way, we just have to stop there to eat. Besides the delicious pizza (drooling just thinking about it) you will be overwhelmed by the display of antiques and collectibles not only on the walls, but adorning the ceiling as well. It is such a neat place to take the kids to. We have never found another place yet that even comes close to their yummy pizza. It's probably a good thing we live two hours away now or we would be there all the time! I think a trip to visit relatives near there will soon be in order. LOL

You are right about the pizza.
There is only one pizza that I like better then Upper Crust and that is Ruby's in Darien, WI.
Everyone must have their favorite pizza place. Let's hear about them.

demon71, I see that you are from Lake Geneva. I lived in Genoa City back in my younger days and I went to high school in Lake Geneva from '73-'74. I still have family down there in Pell Lake, Walworth and Genoa City. It's a nice area with lots of things for everyone to do. I especially liked going to the antique and flea markets just over the border in Richmond, Illinois.

I had to look on a map to find out where Pell Lake is! Sounds like it's worth a side trip next time I'm down that way. Thanks for pointing it out, CLW!

I love pizza and if I'm ever through this area I will give it a try. I can't really decide what is my favorite pizza place because I haven't tried them all yet. Some places that I've had are no longer in business. One that is still around is Pizza Man in Milwaukee. They do both the Chicago style deep dish and a thinner hand tossed crust. I've only had their deep dish. The place is unique looking inside with the crooked bricks and booths made of old wood from another building. I don't know the story behind it.

I liked Ned's pizza in Milwaukee, too. I don't know if there are any of those left anymore. Maybe one of them still is.
