Visual? Kinesthetic? Auditory? What's your learning style?
Everybody learns all 3 ways, but we all have our favorite...the one that really gets to us, that makes information more likely to stick. Do you like to learn by doing? (Kinesthetic) Or by reading? (Visual) Or by having new information repeated, with explanations? (Auditory)
Your learning style also gives you a clue about how you relate to other people. Are you a hugger or a toucher? Or does that make you uncomfortable?
Knowing that you have a favorite way of "relating" also helps you realize that other people have a favorite way, too--and it might not be the same as yours. It could make us all a bit more tolerant of each other.
Anyway, here are a couple places to take some quick tests to find out your favorite learning style:

The first link, after you take the test you must submit name, email addy etc... the results will be sent there & i can not access my personal email from my job.
if you want quick results go with link #2...
My Results...
based on this info you are probably
a Kinesthetic
learner.
Thanks for taking the learning styles inventory!

So, do you tend to touch people on the arm when you talk to them? Do you "gut check" to see if things feel right to you? Do you play with your hair (or something) when you read or study? Are you "fidgety?" Enjoy playing sports?

Shocking!
Could you speak if you had to sit on your hands? Do you often say "looks good?" When you watch a movie, do you notice things that other people miss? (Little things like, say, someone was wearing a watch a moment ago and now it's suddenly missing?) Can you always tell if someone has moved something from where you left it yesterday?

Nope don't touch people when i talk, unless i'm flirting of course & i'm not very good at that, being all shy you know
yes the gut check is me to an extent, if it dont 'feel' right then count me out, that comes from surviving the streets on my own for so long.
dont play with my hair, but i do tend to click the pen top thingy and tap my nails on the desk when working & not typing at that moment, but not real fidgety otherwise... lazy is my fav pass time, though i dont get to do it enough lol NO NO not a sports kinda gal, not at all.. i can watch, but usually dont sit through an entire game or anything.

I can answer yes to all of the above... maybe i'm a combo of everything??

I don't know about the hands thing, that would be my husband talking with his hands and knocking over stuff. He's on the clumsy side.
I don't know if I say looks good, I'm more like what do you think? Very indecisive when I have too many choices.
I analyze movies, but more for the why didn't they do this or come on now, that isn't possible.
Yes, I can tell if my husband moved something to a different place. See? You didn't even say husband, but he never puts anything back in the right place. If I can't find something in the kitchen, I know that I have to start looking in every cupboard to find it. I'm very neat and organized and like everything in it's place or it bothers me.

so am i not Kinesthetic then?
No, those are just questions. Just out of curiosity...I like to guess at stuff like that. I would bet that you do other "kinesthetic" things...I just didn't guess them!

Like I said to Latina...I just like to guess at stuff like that. Specially on here where I really don't know anyone besides Toes.
I AM surprised that you don't talk with your hands...I draw pictures for everybody with my hands as I'm talking so they can see what I'm seeing in my head! Ha! I find it very difficult to talk if I can't use my hands. Most, but certainly not all, visual people talk with their hands. Helps people see what we're saying!
Re: Visual? Kinesthetic? Auditory? What's your learning style?
Maybe I don't even pay attention to what I do with my hands when talking. I must be a visual person, because I have to constantly paint a picture for my husband when I explain stuff to him lol lol.
Re: Visual? Kinesthetic? Auditory? What's your learning style?
These days I find it very hard to concentrate long reading anything.. I still do best by doing something, rather than listening to or reading about something..
