If you could trade lives with one member of this board for one week, who would you choose and why?
ANSWER: Interesting question. I actually had to think about this for awhile. My first quick response was: keith. I have no real reason, just popped into my head.
But then I started to really think and decided that each and everyone has their own set of problems, many not known to any of us, but never the less, we all have something we are dealing with, that's life, right?
So, I decided that since my life kinda sucks right now, it's still my problems that I've been use to dealing with so may as well say that I would not want to trade with anyone and just keep the life that I have going on right now that I'm use to. I don't believe in the grass is greener on the other side of the fence...I believe that it's just another set of problems. lol So I'll stick with the ones that are mine. Hope that makes sense.
Do you play or have you played any instruments or ever been in a band? If not, what instrument do you wish you could play?
ANSWER #5:
My mother was a piano/organ teacher (in the piano music hall of fame, wrote songs, and in her earlier years sang with a group that was offered a contract). So with all of that you better believe I learned to play the piano/organ too. I started playing when I was only 3, and soon after it was discovered I had perfect pitch. I never graduated in piano since the Beatles hit the big times and I became obsessed with their music to the dismay of my Mom though. lol
I have a really nice Baldwin Spinet Piano and also my Mom's Grand Piano (sadly the grand is in storage).
Are you satisfied with how your life turned out and if not what's missing and do you have a plan to achieve your ideal happiness.
ANSWER #6: Ever since I was very young and could talk if I was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up...I would answer one thing: a mommy.
Well I became a mommy 4 times now and even have grand kids. So that part is great. If I had to look back and ask if I missed out on something I would say that I missed doing something more for myself. I am not one to ask for myself but I think everyone should do that to be happier in life. I now wish I had taken photography classes and learn to be a good photographer. Or I wish I took steps to write children's books. Always wanted to do that. Another dream I use to have was to own a small store.
I tell my kids, especially my daughters to never give up on your education and make sure you get your own career going. Never give up on what you want. It's very important to have that so you know you can always take care of yourself and your kids.
I have started photography classes last week and have goals to try to do more this year for myself..decided better late than never.
If you were a contestant on Dancing With The Stars, how do you think you'd fare?
ANSWER #7:
Actually I use to never dance until I was in my early 30's. I was separated and some friends wanted me to go out dancing. I enjoyed it and use to dance quite a bit. Now you could not drag me out there! lol
Ballroom dancing and all the kinds they do on Dancing with the Stars?? I would be the first voted off.
PK, number 6 answer, that's cool. I guess I asked that question in a way to motivate someone or get someone to think about it.
Writing books these days is way easier than it was in the past. You can write a book on your computer, send it in to someone online, they do the hard work. I think I read that people have books online at amazon, something to look into maybe.

You mean you wouldn't pick Toes (not pick toes, but Toes lol)? She lives some place warm and we don't.

I actually thought about her...lives somewhere warm was certainly a plus. It's only for a week, right? And it's cold here. Sounds like she has a nice house, and lives on the beach. And she is putting a mini fridge upstairs! lol So yeah, Toes was a close one to pick...then I remembered she works with dogs. Now if she had to take care of and work with cats, that would be different...but walking a bunch of dogs and caring for them, not me. (does she ever have a week she is by herself and no dogs?
Yeah, she was one I considered. But only for a week. lol
8. If you could travel back in time and meet yourself as a 15 year old kid, what advice would you want to give her?
ANSWER #8: Go to college! And don't get married early!!!
Back then girls got married early. I was 19 when I first got married.
Also, I had a chance to go to college but turned it down because I was working full time and making money. Thought that was good enough. lol It was nothing and I learned that now that I'm looking for a job.

Well actually I work with ALL kinds of animals, I have tons of cat clients too!
In fact today, I am "cat-heavy".
You would survive here......and make it 2 weeks. More time to get a tan.
And nope......I rarely get tme off, and you would have 2 dogs with you 24/7 right here at home. Hmm....not a dog person huh? Hmmm, interesting.

(an age-old question not requiring too much creativity)
You are stuck on an island with NO chance of being rescued, an it's primitive......no electricity/phone service, etc.
3 things you would want with you (not people or animals).

Actually my problem is that I do love dogs, but just got to a point in my life that I love them if they are someone else's dogs. I am tired of taking care of dogs, especially taking them out when it's cold out, worrying about coming home in time to take them out, not being able to jump and go for a weekend because I have to be here to take them out....and the last few years of dogs we had destructive ones that I'm still trying to fix things from them. We took in a few shelter dog mill dogs that I could not house break very well. Long story. So, guess that's why I prefer cats now. They are loving and kind and go in a litter box at 2:00 a.m. if needed . lol

ANSWER #9: 1. A genie bottle that worked, so I could get 3 wishes granted, first would be to make me tax free rich, 2nd, to make me younger, and 3rd to get me back where I want to be (which is off the island).
2. my camera so I could take pictures before I ask the genie to get me the heck out of there.
3. a case of coke so I wouldn't be thirsty on the way home.
(by the way a genie is not actually a real person so I'm not breaking the rules. lol )
QUESTION #1: Looking over the years between your childhood to now, would you say your life went pretty much as you thought it would, or did it turn out completely different?
lol sorry dave but that question made me want to ask..boxers or briefs? lol Just the first thing that popped in my head.
OK, strike the boxer question...lol here is my real question:
QUESTION #5: I love to read your 'stoney' posts and appreciate your great photos, what inspired you as 'stoney' and start you on your path with photography? (ok kinda like 2 questions in one...lol)
