The New York Jets announce the return of quarterback Brett Favre and the hiring of Mike Holmgren as the new Jets coach.
Other former Packers are expected to sign with the New York Jets in the weeks to come.

The Big Three announce plans for auto and truck production in Wisconsin. Toyota, Honda and Hyundai all plan to take advantage of low cost labor in Wisconsin.
