Goodness no, I've had my cute little purple christmas tree and decorations up since Nov 21......

I never did get purple boots or purple shoes.....

I did find some very pretty burgandy flower petals and gold bows and accented the tree with those.

We used to put our tree up the week before Christmas and took it down New Year's day but that was when we had a real tree..

Cindy...I know you must have a beautiful tree this year, care to share a photo of it or maybe a close up of the color you used this year? (teal and white I think?)

My SIL (from my first marriage) makes really cool fish ornaments and just sent me 2 the other day. Love them. I will have to find her website and post it.

I had a Canadian friend that hand painted ornaments every year and sold them.. she used to make some decent extra money around the Holidays that way.

It's great when a person has the ability to make a craft and can sell it for extra cash. Every little bit helps.

True.. but I think people were just helping her out.. I thought they looked pretty crappy

I used to hand decorate goose eggs.. and had no illusions that I didn't know what I was doing. They looked terrible, lol!

Many times I go to craft fairs and wonder what the person was thinking bringing such inferior looking things to sell. lol But I figure someone out there must like it. Now I understand people must just buy the things just to help out. lol Never thought of it that way. I only buy if it's something worth buying and I like it. Guess I'm not as generous.

Here ya go Patti! It's teal and silver on a white Christmas tree.

It would've been prettier with the silver beaded garland but I couldn't find any so I had to use the tinsel type instead. Can you tell there are six hundred lights on it?
