Refrigerator locks

Remember a conversation (in daily chit chat I believe) about a lock for a refrigerator or deep freezer.

Anyone experienced with a brand or type that you can recommend?

just saw this now. It was mentioned in the chit chat not to long ago. I use to have a freezer that had a lock and a big key but it was an older freezer. When we bought our new freezer we asked about a lock but it did not come with one.

If I remember correctly I think Sears had a lock that has an alarm on it. That way if the door opens for any questionable length of time or the temp drops the alarm goes off too. I think you can buy it separately ahd put it on somehow. Can't quite remember.

When my mom was dieting, my dad fixed up a chain and padlock for the frig--ran it around the whole thing and through the handle.

Just kidding!!!

I have no idea...other than built-in locks, I've never seen a lock on a refrigerator.

It uses adhesive pads that help hold the Space Needle in Seattle, Washington together. Tough to beat!

Try duct tape. Im sure that any locksmith could make it work for you.
