Santa's Marching Band Musical Christmas Ornaments

I bought these musical animated Christmas ornaments at a local flea market in the original box for only $7. The box still had the original Toys R Us price tag of $69.99 on it. Powered by batteries or AC adapter, these play 15 different Christmas songs in 5 part harmony.

Good buy there. I see your getting into the Christmas spirit. The snow should be on it's way in a couple weeks or so too.

Haha @ Christmas spirit.. 2007 was the first year I'd had a tree in 2 years. I go in spurts. Living alone with no relatives nearby, Christmas hasn't been that big a deal.

I like vintage decorations so last year went out and bought stuff at flea markets and such, then threw it all out after the holidays so I wouldn't have to store it.

I may go whole hog this year though and put up a full-sized tree in the dining room to freak out my parakeet.

I already try to confuse him by surrounding him with angel figurines (people with wings). Wait til he sees flying reindeer.. he'll need therapy!

Oh...to bad you didn't take them to a thrift store so others could pick them up and use the vintage look too. Some vintage ones have a great look to them.

Talk about vintage, I remember the old 'silver' tree with the rotating color wheel. We had one for years when I was young. It was about 7 feet tall.

Last year I had a small tabletop tree.. gonna go for something bigger this year.. I actually like the silver trees.. done right, they were beautiful.

I have one Christmas decoration I set out so far and think that will be the extent of it this year.. I'm low on funds and spirit both plus I'll most likely spend it with my neighbor anyway.
