when you tell someone about your bad day and they say " well you know what it could be worse"
i always tell em " well you know what? it could always be better too !!!
or you tell them and they stop you and proceed to tell you all about their bad day. And the part that really sucks is their story is usually worse so you feel bad complaining in the first place. lol
I have alot of medical problems but I don't even tell my brother about any of them because if I were to tell him I just lost my leg, he'd say I just lost mine too!
I did everything I was told and it is suppose to work it's way thru and heal itself
After 9 months of struggling to walk because it felt like I was walking on glass
a client of mine told me to get birkenstock shoes. She said they fixed her feet over night.
I did go get some because right now I have 17 pairs of shoes I've worn maybe a week, 2 weeks and had to get something different.
These birkenstocks are like magic!! They craddled my foot like I needed and in 2 days I was darn near back to normal.
The heel spur pain is still there. Next to impossible to walk bare feet.
When I have to put on my tennis to go do the critters I'm reminded it's still there and still healing.
SO...anyone suffering from heel spurs??? Get some birkenstock shoes. They do work like magic.
All I can say about my day today is that it was long! We decided to take everything out of our garage (and we have A LOT of things) and organize it. I am also setting up for a Rummage Sale. So it was clean, organize, and work all day.
I can honestly say that I think I hurt everywhere tonight. It's after 11:00..but it's one of those night that I'm so tired that I'm too tired to sleep! Ever have that happen? lol
But I do have to say that the best part of the day was the fact that my daughter made dinner so we could just run over there and eat and I did not have to do anything about feeding everyone!
OUCH! I had that before. I went back on my celebrex to help with the pain. It took months but it finally went away. I know that before you get up in the morning or after sitting for awhile make sure you stretch your foot. Do that carefully a few times before putting any weight on the foot. That always helped for me. I have a foot that always gives me other problems so it really was bad when I had the heel spurs too.
I am interested in the shoes you mentioned. I will look into them.
Weekend was good, did a lot of cleaning Saturday during the day & relaxed in the evening.
Sunday went to visit a friend in Beloit, got home around 9:30ish last night and was beat! Took some pain meds,cuz my knees were hurtin & off to bed I went.
all in all a mellow wkend & next weekend i will be in Illinois visiting my best friend. My son took off work all next wkend... We will be renting a room & making a weekend mini vacation of it

Oh, don't you just love that? I remember my neighbor telling me that after I had gone through a job lay off and was struggling to find another job and everything else seemed to be going wrong no matter what I tried. That was the last thing I needed to hear. I just wanted someone to talk to about my frustrations. That comment really ticked me off, but I didn't tell her that. I'm sure she wasn't trying to be mean by saying that.
Unfortunately many people are too "me" oriented to relate to someone else. Like you said, they're not being mean.
I have to admit tho, I can be a big whiner at times!

Cloudy here most of the day, there was a little sunshine later and now it's pouring.
I did get lucky on Thurs. and got some good fall color photos in between the clouds on the way home from work. It was good timing, because by the time I reached home it got completely cloudy.
Well I just got back a short time ago from picking my daughter up from her field trip. It was so chilly and raining out. Guess it started raining a few hours ago and soaked all the kids on their trip during Fright Fest Great America. But they are kids and they managed to have fun even while freezing and being soaked.
Guess that kinda put a 'damper' on my otherwise ok day to sit up and wait, go out in the rain, to have my daughter soaked complaining she was starving. lol Great fun for mom.
Today was actually a pretty good day...they called for 70 percent chance of rain all day and it was sunny out all afternoon.
So how was your day today?
