Re: "Thought" Provoking

He just became the first African-American to earn the top spot on either major party ticket for president.

No small feat.

More on his background at Barack Obama - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia including:
He entered Harvard Law School in 1988.[12] His election in 1990 as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review was widely reported.[13] Obama graduated with a J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard in 1991, then returned to Chicago where he headed a voter registration drive and began writing his first book, Dreams from My Father, a memoir published in 1995.[14]
That is one of a couple of books he has written.

Regards,
Keith

Re: "Thought" Provoking

Election Update !!

John McCain has today unveiled his 2008 General Election campaign slogan.

" More of the Same With John McCain "

Make no mistake about it. Obama will be the next US president & in all likelihood for the next eight years.

I, for one, will be happy to finally have a President who can actually string together intelligent, complete sentences who can think for himself.

Don't get me wrong. I think Dubya is a well intentioned good ole boy. His only problem was he never had the brain power to be President.

Unfortunately, now Obama will have to spend an enormous amount of time, effort, & money to fix the mess left behind.
