lawn & garden (ecoGreen )

Over the weekend I prepared my lawn for it's first mowing of the season.
Step one remove dandelions prior to cutting or spray weed-b-gone on after.
Thinking ecoGreen I use the old standard weed remove and did not use any toxic chemicals.

How do you take care for your lawn and garden? using ecoGreem principles?
Post them here

If we get enough of a response
I will make a list for all to copy and print

This is a grass roots movement going here, think ecoGreen

If someone has a suggestion for removing those nasty weeds form cracks in the sidewalk of paved patio blocks please post here. Id' like to stop using roundup although that works sooooooooooooo good!!!

Re: lawn & garden (ecoGreen )

What I would like to know is...how to get rid of creeping charlie.

This weekend if the weather permits we plan on tilling part of our yard where this plant is the worse. Hopefully doing that and planting all new grass the weed will go away. I know, wishful thinking.

The only thing I know is, we have used all the weed killers known to kill this weed and it seems to still want to grow.

Anyone with a better idea please post it.
