Not sure if I could ever handle the bike thing for long...but put me in a van and I'm ready to take off anytime. A long road trip sounds pretty great to me. Just make sure there is room for the kids, and maybe the cats, and then there's the luggage, food, pillows, blankets, and all the kid things, and .... lol well....maybe a camper behind the van too. lol
