Twas the month before Christmas


When all through our land,
Not a Christian was praying
Nor taking a stand.

Why the Politically Correct Police had taken away,
The reason for Christmas - no one could say.
The children were told by their schools not to sing,
About Shepherds and Wise Men and Angels and things.

It might hurt people's feelings, the teachers would say
December 25th is just a ' Holiday '.
Yet the shoppers were ready with cash, checks and credit
Pushing folks down to the floor just to get it!

CDs fr om Madonna, an X BOX, an I-pod ,
Something was changing, something quite odd!
Retailers promoted Ramadan and Kwanzaa
In hopes to sell books by Franken and Fonda.

But as Target was hanging their trees upside down
At Lowe's the word Christmas - was no where to be found.
At K-Mart and Staples and Penny's and Sears
You won't hear the word Christmas; it won't touch your ears.

Inclusive, sensitive, di-ver-si-ty
Are words that are used to intimidate me.
Now Daschle, Now Darden, Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen
On Boxer, on Rather, on K erry, on Clinton !

At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter
To eliminate Jesus, in all public matter.
And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith.
Forbidden to speak of Salvation and Grace.

The true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded
The Reason for the Season, stopped before it started.
So as you celebrate 'Winter Break' under your 'Holiday Tree'
While sipping your Starbucks, listen to me.

Shout 'MERRY CHRISTMAS', not Happy Holiday,
Our Country was founded under the Christian way
And to those who don't like it, we'll just have to say,
"Take your hate elsewhere, you don't have to stay!!

NOTE: I have nothing against any other religion or it's Holiday's. I am just tired of all the "politically correct" nonsense that the government is imposing on us. This country was founded on Freedom of Speach AND Religion. I have several Jewish friends that wish ME Merry CHRISTMAS, and I in turn wish them Happy H**** ok,, I can't spell it LOL. I have yet to have someone "offended" because I said Merry Christmas and they did not observe it. They were polite enough to tell me that they were Jewish, etc. and that gave me an opportunity to learn about thier holidays this time of year.

So to everyone out there,,, Merry Christmas, Happy "Festival of Lights" ( I can spell that ) or what ever holiday you celebrate. And if you do not celebrate any holiday this time of year,,, Still,,, have a great day,, or try to in this country that was founded on the freedom for you to practice any or no religion, what ever your choice.

Oh, and isn't it funny that Lowes, Walmart,whoever, won't say Merry CHRISTMAS, but still have a SANTA???? oh, forgot, he is represents the MONEY part of the holiday,, and there is NO WAY they would EVER get rid of HIM??
