We should always make a point to stop and appreciate all the little things in life. And fluffy towels is one of the little things that I'm sure a great many of us take for granted! How would you feel if you were this big fluffy towel that had to be used to dry somebody's #$% and never got a day to be appreciated? lol
Let's all hug our towels today and say thank you.
Also, let's say thank you to Carol for bringing this important day to our attention.
 Thank you Carol.

Re: Another Hallmark Moment
Let us not forget those whose towels are no longer fluffy. May these poor souls remain in our hearts and prayers.

Re: Another Hallmark Moment
That reminds me that I have wanted to retire some old towels and buy some new fluffy ones. Maybe I will tell the relatives that is what I want for Christmas. Not something that would go unappreciated....that's for sure.
Does everyone have trouble throwing the old favorites out...or is it just me? I have some that are probably 20 years old now and I just can't part with them.

I have some from when my mom passed away I just had to keep some of her old towels. I could not part with them. I remembered her using them for many years. She use to collect them out of detergent boxes. Anyone remember that? The thing is that many of them still looked good. Wonder how she did that.
My problem seems like that many of my towels go missing around here..especially during the summer months with swim etc. So I don't have a whole lot that we buy that are really old. When I do get older ones they usually go into the bag of rags to use for the car, or dry the dog, etc. So many uses for an old towel that I just don't throw away until there is almost nothing left. lol

Re: Another Hallmark Moment
fluffy towels
start your day
dry you off
chase the cold away
fluffy towels
soft and warm
refresh yourself
early in the morn
fluffy towels
when brand new
comfort fresh
chase away the blues
but fluffy towels
do wear out
when they get nappy
toss them out

Re: Another Hallmark Moment
I just had some not so fluffy towels donated to me for the wildlife rehab.
I'll take any towels, fluffy or not!! The wildlife babies love them regardless.

Re: Another Hallmark Moment
How to keep your towels fluffy and happy;
A cup of vinegar in the rinse cycle works wonders! Also to freshen towels, try a 1/2 cup of baking soda in the wash cyle. Dryer sheets & softeners are horrible on towels. Due to the fact they leave a silicone coating on them. Good luck & happy fluffy towel day
