Since this is not about Wisconsin , I thoght this was the best place to post this thread.
There is more to the story than our stay at the Park,I also had the opportunity of a lifetime , similar to walking across Abbey Road in London, but that will be another posting yet to be written.
Our time at Charles Lindgergh State Park in Little Falls,MN.

This Park has 35 camp sites with 15 electric sites. It also has a group camp area and very nice picnic area located close to the Charles Lindgergh Museum and Homestead. Hiking and cross country skiing trails can be found in this park.
The campground is quite old and in need of site resurfacing but was adequate for use during our stay. While the dump station is not paved they do have a fresh water supply,Just REMEMBER to bring a hose as they do not have one for immediate use, although the ranger was nice enough to borrow a hose from their office so I could fill our water tank. There is much more to this park than what we took the time to see. We,to our dismay, discovered that the Museum is closed on MONDAYS, poor planning on our part. I am guessing that it is a MUST see Museum.
All in all it was a decent campground with a centrally located shower/bathroom building. At night you can hear the coyotes howling , sometime quite close! This park was pretty much open during the week with the eletric sites filled on the weekend.Minnesota has a maximum of 90 day advance reservation system, so you do not need to plan a year in adavnce to get a site.I like that!!! Remeber do NOT bring your own firewood as Minnesota has firewood rules exactly like Wisconsin. Thier supply was dry and a bundle cost $3.00.
